Some friends had told us about La Morra recently so we decided to give them a try. On a desolate stretch of Rt. 9 in Brookline, just beyond the Jamaica Way, is their location. Bar seating is on the first floor with the main restaurant...More

I've been to La Morra before, and went back for a going away for my daughter. We started with the meatballs -- which were tender and flavorful. Then I added white anchovies -- tender little filets that would probably have been paired better with a...More

Food was. Fantastic, we’ll served by very attentive staff. Fried olives were good and tasty. Spaghetti bolognese was loaded with big chunks of meat in a very tasty sauce on home made pasta. Great Stripe bass dish was prepared just right. The Cornish hen meal...More

I had a dinner at La Morra. Great Italian place in Brookline. Especially, the chocolate cake desert was divine.

Attended a wine and food pairing here. The food was spectacular. I can’t think of a restaurant that impressed me as much as La Morra did that night. Can’t wait to go back.

Restaurant business is no different from any other service business. You can/will do well by continuing to provide excellent, friendly, prompt, caring service to your clients. Get some new and efficient staff. We have choices in Boston area even for good Italian food.

The Lamb Ragu was not as I expected. I felt it was too cheesy for a lamb Ragu. Also, the service was very slow and below par. In fact, we had to ask 2 times for bread at the beginning. Other dishes were pretty good....More

Family of 6, seated at 8:20 PM (late seating) on a Sat night, very inattentive waiter, had to ask twice for bread, late with taking order, slow with appetizers, slow with getting us dinner. Food was good, particularly the braised fried, stuffed olives. However, for...More
