Excellent food. Pricey as you might expect for excellent sushi. Clean, friendly service. Great for lunch or dinner.

This place has some of the most amazing Sushi and Nigri a person can get this side of Boston. I would also highly recommend the Fugaku Fried Rice with Seafood or any of their Udon dishes. One of the best things about this place is that they offer small private dinning quarters that have a sliding door to offer maximum... More

Ate here last fall while in town. Great food. Great service. The beef teriyaki was delicious and of course the rice and spare ribs were equally delicious. It was a bit pricey, but, well worth it.

I've never had a bad meal here. I've gone with my family and with friends - lunch and dinner - and they never disappoint. Fresh fish, with a great selection for sushi. It's a large restaurant with an upstairs area, as well as around the sushi bar.

Great selection of sushi for a wide range of eaters depending on how adventurous they are. There are also non sushi entrees for those who aren't into the sushi scene but got dragged along by their friends. Great ambiance with traditional architecture and private rooms for larger parties. Very clean and the servers were great.

My wife and I heard about this from a friend and decided to go there. It was great! Sushi was fresh, we wanted to get a individual room but they were all taken and we didn't want to wait. Service was great. We go there all the time now and for whoever goes, you have to get an individual room... More

Fugakyu has excellent sushi choices and the fish is always fresh, but you pay for it. The private booths are nice.

I just love the private, little rooms! You can reconnect with friends without feeling that other people are listening to your conversations. The food is really good, too!

A casual dinner on a busy week night turned into a very nice experience. This restaurant has a good deal of what makes for a satisfactory night out. Good food; interesting enough to add adventure to the night out, excellent service to make the experience comfortable and over-all atmosphere so that it feels like a night out. It is busy,... More

I am currently sitting at my table in fugakyu in Brookline with my family. We ordered sushi at 8:12 PM. It is currently 9:04 PM and we have not been served yet....So if you're super hungry I suggest you go elsewhere!

Thank Bryant W
