I meet with a group of guys for breakfast each week. We have tried dozens of local restaurants over the years so we have a pretty good handle on comparative pricing and quality. On our most recent get together we went to Ducktales, my first visit for breakfast. I was initially struck by the pricing which is on the high... More

Food, atmosphere, and service absolutely outstanding!. Crab cakes to die for according to daughter. Soups (potato sausage) and (broccoli cheddar) prepared/changed daily and changed seasonally were outstanding. Loaded sweet potatoes were crisp, hot and loaded with cheese, bacon and green onions. Our group was joined twice with new diners and staff responded beautifully with arrangements. It would be a disservice... More

This little place is owned by the offspring of the owner of Waddles (which is now Hooters). Although Waddles was more for the environment than the food, not so at Ducktales. These folks can cook! Everything has a little fancy twist to it, and they always have different specials on the menu. I like the CFS and the Eggs Benedict.... More

Sandwiches, salads, soups, etc. for lunch. Clean interior with both booths and table set-ups. Located in a tiny strip mall. Food is good quality and tastes fine. No big surprises either good or bad.

We went to DuckTales for Saint Patrick's day to have Corned Beef and Cabbage after searching on line for someplace local. It is a cute little place and the server was very friendly and fun. We started with the Sriracha Chicken Bites, which were OK, but nothing special. My wife and I both ordered the Corned Beef & Cabbage with... More

Had the chicken fried steak for breakfast. The steak itself appeared to be a processed, frozen patty. Not very flavorful and the gravy was super peppery. My husband got the Denver omelet and said it wasn't like any he'd had before - and not in a good way. Was not too busy for a Saturday morning, but parking in the... More

Great find tucked into an older neighborhood of Vancouver, but what a find. It was difficult to make a decision on lunch because everything looked great. I chose the hazelnut chicken salad sandwich and it was a good choice. The show stopper was dessert. The offered a free dessert since we were celebrating a birthday. She chose the baileys cream... We've been here several times and always find the food good and staff friendly. This is a small local place, with good sandwiches, soups and salads for lunch. We have not tried breakfast or dinner.

Colleen, thank you so much for taking the time to share your positive experience. Sounds like your experience was what we strive for! Please check out breakfast and/or dinner one of these days. Seeing the same faces come back time and again is one of the most rewarding compliments a restaurant owner can get. Thank you. More

Go Tuesday and try for a French dip. Usually have to call ahead and reserve. Friday night is prime rib and the cuts are generous and delicious. There is Stella Artois on tap and the desserts are locally made and delicious. Wait staff has been there forever too which to me means a good employer. Ave had everything on the... More

Great, friendly service, good food. A chicken fried steak (they call it country fried steak on their menu) that is good as you get in the Southern States.

Description
We are a neighborhood restaurant featuring our own recipes. As noted by my last name, I am a "Waddle". I grew up working and learning about the restaurant business at the Waddles that was at Jantzen beach for so many years. I added some of my favorite recipes from those years to our menu. We're all about "real" food using fresh incredients and our own special flavors in all we do.In addition to the restaurant we offer full service catering and event planning solutions.
