Yeah, best steak I've ever had a restaurant. I am normally unimpressed by steaks prepared at other restaurants because I feel like I can prepare one better at home but not at Does. The steak was amazing and huge! Pricey but worth it. Service was timely and attentive. If I would have a criticism I would say off the beaten... More

The steak here is way better than Ruth's Chris and the location is in a historic brewery! Request to be seated on the main floor as the seating in the lower level can be loud.

First time Doe's, so wasn't sure what to expect, but it was my birthday so I wanted to treat myself. I was seated promptly and was given a menu. First place I've ever been to that charged by the pound for a steak. I chose the 11oz Filet with fries, cooked Medium. The salad was basic, but the Bleu Cheese... More

If not for Trip Advisor we would never have found this place. Very nice stone building very mug off the beaten path. We had to try the tamales and we are not huge fans of tamales. We were not disappointed they were delicious as an appetizer. My husband and I split a 12 ozs filet. We are originally from Kansas... More

Wife and I used a birthday gift certificate to Doe's Eat Place this evening. The restaurant is located in an historic part of Fort Smith in an old brewery building. We dined in a very unique cellar with a domed roof. Had no problem getting a table at 5:30 pm on a Friday night. The restaurant opens at 5:00 pm.... More

Passing through Ft Smith Arkansas we found Doe's Eat Place through trip advisor reviews. Its rustic, located in an old brewery, its casual, and its a great place for steak. We both had filets -- both prepared exactly -- my often problematic "exceedingly rare" was "cooked" to perfection. Before that we tried the fried shrimp appetizer which was very good... More

This is the second time I have been here. I will say that they have some of the best steaks that I have ever had, and being from Kansas City, we have a lot of great steak places. I had the small filet and the other two had the king filet. All were cooked perfectly. Two of us had the... More

The steaks were cooked well and had good flavor. The sides however can stand much improvement as well as the appetizer.

The steak is the best I town, bar none. However, the sides are limited as is the menu. The salad is not noteworthy. Your bill will be high. With a few tweaks it could be AWESOME but as it is it's just so so.

Located in a historic brewery in Fort Smith, you will enjoy melt in your mouth steaks, good wine and a well stocked bar. Bring your honey and share one for only $10.00 more. While you're there, touch the 100 plus year old rock where beer was crafted for the locals.
