Delicious, fresh food. Excellent service. Building adorably decorated and clearly a local fave. Full up on Sunday pm. Michelle was excellent - when she found out it was our first time she explained the menu and recommended signature entrees. It was delicious and excellent service! You should go!!!!

The restaurant is in a very nicely restored old downtown building. Our waiter was an older man, very knowledgeable and a great server! The menu has several specialties that we would describe as Latin-South American Cuisine. We like the restaurant, servers, food and drinks!

Stopped here for lunch while passing through Ft. Smith. What a treasure! The restaurant is in a beautifully restored building in the downtown historic district. We ate in the main dining downstairs; there is an upstairs dining area with a bar and is spacious enough for large parties or groups of around 100.
The decor and appointments downstairs are unique, whimsical and colorful-a feast for the eyes! The tablecloths are textiles from Ecuador, most protected by glass, keeping everything protected yet leaving the beautiful designs & patterns of each visible. The artwork is quirky and delightful.
Service was outstanding! Not only was our server professional, courteous & attentive, the manager stopped by our table to welcome us and point out some of the more unique artwork. We felt very much at ease and enjoyed our entire experience at Rolando’s.
The food! Beautiful presentation, even on the lunch specials. I had the spinach enchilada lunch special, which was served with sides of rice & black beans, pickled red onions and brined and seasoned cucumbers. Although portion size was smaller than what one might get in the typical Mexican restaurant, it was satisfying and delicious.
If you’re looking for something different, for food that is fresh and a warm, inviting atmosphere, stop in at Rolando’s.

The appetizer and main dishes were subpar. My date’s meal was actually cold. The server was very attentive and sweet, though new and unable to answer many of our questions. He did, however, make sure I entered the door prize drawing (and I won a $20 gift certificate!) and brought a piece of Caribbean Rum Cake for my date’s birthday. The cake redeemed the experience. It was scrumptious—and I don’t really like cake all that much! The GC also helped with the overall disappointment of the food. I won’t need to go again.

The food was not good at all. We are from out of town and felt like it was a total waste of money. No free chips and salsa. Queso was runny. Kids meals are not normal kids food. Adult meals have a weird taste to them. Just not good. Would not recommend. Felt like a complete waste of money which it isn’t cheap.

Very friendly and welcome and seating, as well as enthusiastic service. The setting is interesting, and the menu rather full. We did not expect Tex/Mex food, but our cheese dip appetizer and both our entrees (quesadillas and shimp Mojo were almost without any flavor at all, even the natural flavor of the ingredients. Sorry, but not tasty.

The fajitas were tasty, but I only got 3 tortillas, not enough to wrap the generous portion of meat and peppers. Dish also included rice and black beans. My husband enjoyed Lula's Enchiladas with shredded pork. Margarita was average,

The food is as always incredible but I’ve noticed the last few times I’ve ordered , the amount of chicken they are putting in the meal has decreased significantly. I ordered a burrito and there was barely enough chicken for half the meal. This, after raising their prices significantly within the last year, has made me decide not to eat there again.

My husband and I are driving south to see our military son in Louisiana and we stopped in Fort Smith for dinner- we chose the first restaurant Trip Advisor advised and we were not disappointed! Food was delicious, service was excellent- so enjoyed talking with Abbey!
It’s definitely on our list to stop again! Highly recommend!

Driving from Amarillo Texas to Memphis Tennessee we stopped in Fort Smith for the night. We always look for popular locally (family) owned restaurants. We decided to eat at Rolandos for lunch the next day after reading great reviews (and seeing beautiful photos). It was a great choice!! The Queso Blanco was incredible. We decided to try the ADVENTURA APPETIZER because it has a variety of their items to try. Our server Christin was incredible at explaining the dishes and giving recommendations. Great place to try!

Tried this place hoping it would be good but was not impressed.
The bean salsa w/corn was ok and the queso was ok but my steak fajitas were not good. The meat to me was low quality and black bean and rice didn’t lend any help for flavors, pickled onion and cucumbers really didn’t go with the meal. The tres leches cake we took to go, was just ok as well.
I wouldn’t recommend this place from what I tasted from this visit.

Traveling cross country we stopped in Fort smith and found this place off of the main strip. The food was authentic, fresh ingredients and the staff was very friendly. Best chicken enchiladas I ever had, covered in a delicious cheese sauce. Margaritas are very good as well. Fresh homemade salsa to start the meal. Highly recommend.

This is a great place in old town. Parking was tricky, we had to go around the block to find the entry. An Equadorean couple owns and runs it. He embellished the architecture and created all the artwork. I had a wonderful plant based soup with veggie broth, corn tortillas, veggies, avocado chunks with a few cubes of cotillion that were added which became perfectly melted. I am plant based and don’t usually have cheese. You could ask to have them omitted. I chose to sin for one meal. Hubby had the daily special which was spinach quesadillas. He had leftovers. We both had the black bean salsa which was good, just not as spicy as we would have liked. We saw several other items to try on the next visit.

Thank you trip advisor! You have never steered us wrong. Rolando"s was such an amazing find. We can't say enough about the food, the presentation, the staff and shout out to our server Vince! He made our dining experience perfect. The menu had so many options that it was seriously hard to choose. If you are ever in this area be sure to stop by. You will not be disappointed!

We have been eating here for years. Never have had a bad meal. Sometimes the service is a bit slow but the atmosphere is relaxing enough. The Flaming Queso cheese dip is on point also. We always bring our out of town guests here. Polo Bohemio is a pretty easy dish to eat. Margaritas are really good also. Highly recommend!
