We stopped because of the name, and because we would love to find a great bbq place in the area. After looking over the menu, I knew I was going to pay more than I had expected for lunch. Food was nothing to rave about but good, and portions were small. I expect a little more food for the price... More

Barbecue shack with great brisket. Don't expect fancy. Barbecue is served on a tray. Brisket is moist with good smoke flavor. Mix the sweet and signature sauces for something special.

We stopped here after visiting the Old Fort Scott historic area. The waitress was kind enough to accommodate my 8 year old picky eater. We had pulled pork, sliced brisket and burnt ends. All very good. My only negative comment is they were a little slow, but I think they may have been doing a large to go order at... More

Love this little place. It will surprise you. Best bbq ever. Very tender meaty ribs. The turkey is to die for. Moist and tender. Pulled pork. Yum. Oh an don't forget the nachos. They tell me the pies are home made. But I'm always be too full to try.

Local flavor in rustic environment provides a succulent meal and great cobblers. Order your cobbler early, they run out fast. The name is for the two hogs seen in the restaurant.

They have the best BBQ in Bourbon County. The staff is wonderful. Their portions are large. They don't have much for the little kids to eat.

Quaint basic place- don't be fooled by the decor- it is the best ribs and smoked turkey you will find- ribs fall apart - turkey is moist and done perfectly- we love the sides, the slaw is perfect and the fries done to perfection- always a wonderful choice for a meal- my husband swears the pulled pork is the best... Great burnt ends, really good beans and loved the hot links. With 3 sauces to choose from ranging from sweet, spicy and wow that's hot, there's a sauce you're sure to find you'll enjoy. The spicy had the perfect balance of heat without being too hot. The meats were tender, flavorful and tasty.

Have eaten here several times before--mist of time at lunch, a few times in the evening. Lunch menu is primarily sandwiches with your choice of meat and one side. You can add a rib with lunch for $1.75. Today at lunch my husband and I had pulled pork sandwiches. He had French fries which he said were good. I had... More

Four people for dinner, four different dishes, all very good. Ribs, pork loin, pulled pork, chopped beef, all more than acceptable. Sides equally so: Beans, mac & cheese, corn bread, slaw, etc. We ordered a 1/2 order of BBQ nachos as an appetizer for the table and it was a real hit. Should have had a whole order. Place looks...
