Went there for pie after eating at another restaurant. I'm not a local but sure wish we had something like this back home. It was the Homiest place. I just loved it. Went back for breakfast the next day. Good food and great value. They make their own pies. mmm. apple and cherry was what we had.

Food is good - Old fashioned and maybe a little on the greasy side, but the service is very friendly. Reminds me of the typical small town diner where everybody knows everybody... nothing special, but very popular with the locals.

I was born and raised in this town and the Nu Grille has been her forever....The service is exceptional and they have good ole' greasy hamburgers and curly fries...Homemade pies also. They are American through and through with the waitresses wearing T-shirts that say "We support our troops" Just good small town eats.

Good food and good service. I had the Southwest burger. Jalapeño, bacon, pepper jack cheese. It was great. Husband had the double Cheeseburger. With everything included Grilled onions . Homemade French fries. He said it was the best he'd ever had.

We stopped in for the first time for a quick breakfast. It wasn't quick...at all, but the eggs, sausage patties and toast were good, and hot. The has browns were mushy, if we go back I'll ask them to leave mine on longer. It's a neat place and it's worth the trip. Next time we'll have to try their burgers.

This is a very small cafe in the heart of Fort Scott. From the step into the front door I would not suggest that it is handicap accessible. From the stares it's clear that this is a local hangout where everyone knows everyone and strangers are scrutinized. The staff was kind and we didn't have any problems. There were a... More

This place has been in business for 60 years, according to a sign. Playing vintage '50-60's music out on the sidewalk, but not indoors. The booths were full on a Sat. for lunch. Staff were very friendly and very efficient. Hamburger and fries and hamburger steak meal were very good. The fries were especially tasty and in-house prepared. Highly recommend... More

This is a relaxed diner atmosphere, complete with oldies playing in the background, stools at the counter, and lots of booths. My daughter loves burgers, and she said this one just replaced the former number one on her list. The broasted chicken was really good, with seasoned green beans. Onion rings are yummy. Our suzy q's were cold, so I... More
