We had dinner there over 4th of July weekend. The wines were very good. I had a pate' appetiser that was very good. My wife had a watermelon salad that was also very good. The entrees (lamb and ribeye) were cooked as we ordered them.

A justification for staying at the Marshall House... This extremely good little resturant attaches itself to the Masrshsall house but also has a separate entrance. I was pleased to see that nobody was dressed in shorts, flip-flops or tank tops. A very elegant resturant that we decided to eat in also for our second night as the first dinner was... More

Out-of-town friends and I met for a late dinner at 45 Bistro last evening. What a treat! Our service was spot on...informed, solicitous but not intrusive, and friendly. Our variety of dishes were fresh and exquisitely prepared. Too often when one dines late, it feels as if the kitchen is tired and cutting corners. Not here. Every dish was carefully... More

This is by far the best restaurant we have eaten at in Savannah. We prefer eating at the bar, as the bartenders are great to talk to. The 20th century martini (ask to make it with vodka) was delicious. We were told that their Beef Carpaccio was supposed to be the best appetizer in Savannah. However, we went for the... More

It is Located in the the Maxwell Hotel in Downtown Savannah. The bartenders are fun and make good drinks. We decided to stay at the bar to eat and had fun trying some different small plates. Escargot is excellent and highly recommended. Both our salads, romaine and Bibb were fresh and plentiful. The French fries are more like the old... More

This place came recommended to us and we were very pleased! The Cream of celery soup was amazing as was the red snapper dish. Atmosphere was nice. Service was very good. Would recommend!

My husband and I stumbled upon this little gem while walking around Charleston. The dining room is very old world and the food is amazing. We had escargot which were incredible and he ordered the red snapper which was the best thing we had all weekend, absolutely lovely dinner.

The grilled romaine was amazing!. I did not care for the cilantro in the side that came with my seared tuna. The tuna was excellent. My husbands steak was enormous. The apple cobbler was hot and delicious - but wait was long - I think I should have waited and gotten some more ginger ice cream at leopolds across the... More

We were here for a rehearsal dinner last month. The glassed-in courtyard was a lovely venue that seemed at once spacious and intimate. The appetizers and drinks were fabulous. I enjoyed the gin and tonic with elderflower syrup. The cheese selection was wonderful. My husband had the steak, which was better than my fish. The chocolate cake was decadent. We... More

Our B&B hostess recommended 45 Bistro for dinner and made us reservations. We were not disappointed. The service and food were outstanding. We tried several of the appetizers including the daily special of ahi tuna and jicama salad. The entrees were large and cooked perfectly and went well with the nice wine selection. Danny, the general manager checked on us... More
