Great lunch or lite dinner option in heart of historic district. Local owned with 2 locations. Best bargain is salad and 1/2 sandwich. Plenty to eat. Serve alcohol but not a boozy place

Came here on a Monday during your typical lunch hour and they had about a 10 minute wait, but we were able to slip in at the bar instantly. They have many options that can be made gluten free, of which were their tacos! I ordered the shrimp tacos, which were delicious. I was told the shrimp had come in... More

My husband and I were in Savannah earlier this week and I had read the reviews about the Black-eyed Bean Veggie Burger. They said it was good. AN UNDERSTATEMENT. I have been a vegetarian over 30 years and this was the very best burger I have ever eaten. It was so good we went back the next day. This time... More

Very hip, casual cafe! I had the tilapia tacos (3 for $12), they were very flavorful with a little kick! My hubby got the Club cubano panini, he really liked and I tasted as well... very good! Several craft beers and cider also- try the blackberry pear hard cider! The staff were very friendly and down to earth, very sweet... More

We visited for lunch. We are gluten free and they were able to accommodate our gluten free requirements. The food is excellent quality and beautifully presented. Ample portion size too.

Kayak Kafe didn't disappoint. We sat at the bar and had fairly attentive service. I ordered a "small" salad and side of hummus, which was enough for lunch plus two more servings for dinner. Decent beer selection for a cafe, featuring some local breweries. Focus on tacos/burritos/quesadillas as well as salads, sandwiches, and paninis. Most dishes can be made gluten-free... More

Wow, what a great place. Ate here based on a recommendation from the hotel. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table and it was worth the wait. The food was incredible. Two of us are vegetarians and everyone was satisfied. The also have a very good beer selection.

One daughter is a vegetarian and the other one lives in Savannah, so we had to try this restaurant. And we all LOVED it. My vegetarian ordered a caprese sandwich that was just yummy. My other daughter ordered shrimp tacos, which were amazing. I ordered the curry chicken salad...the West Indies Salad...and it was a work of art; so beautiful... More

We got ours to go and took it back to our place...salad was great, the jerk chicken panini was hot and spicy. I didn't really like the hummus it wasn't very garlicky. The choices were great for our family. I would go back again.

Thank Anna C
