We go to afternoon tea here each time we are in town. It is a cozy atmosphere and the food is good and the tea service, though informal, is fun!

Stopped here just by chance while walking around the city - what a find! The peanut butter, honey, banana and granola sandwich was enjoyed immensely. We had specialty fruit tea drinks that were so refreshing on a very hot day! Dessert was handmade strawberry and pistachio ice cream - creamy and full of fresh flavors.

We were hoping to have afternoon tea at the Tea Shop (326 Bull Street) but after finally finding the place (inside a book shop), we were told that they no longer serve tea and directed us to Gryphon across the street. It looks nothing from the outside but you step into the 1920s. The place used to be a pharmacy... More

It was our first time out after a late night arrival the evening before and we wanted lunch. We walked from our hotel and came across this gem of a place. It is a former pharmacy turned bookstore turned restaurant. It is only open for lunch and run by the local art college so most of the staff are students.... More

Food was great, atmosphere is great a quaint quiet restaurant. Staff was excellent. Have also visited for a lunch with friends and was very satisfied with that as well. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is visiting the area as well as residents in the Savannah area.

Found by accident- so glad! Never been to a place like this. It was a visual feast for the eyes while waiting for food & tasty feast for the taste buds. Great place to cool down during hot summer day. Even though no alcohol is served , we didn't miss it during this experience!

Visiting Savannah College of Art & Design- SCAD, we were attracted to this quaint tea house with books all over. We had one peach and blueberry iced tea and a Jasmine hot tea. Both were excellent. The tea sandwich platter and hot scones with cream and jam reminded us of our holiday in England.

We lived in England once upon a time, so it was a special treat to take my daughter here for her 32nd birthday. Andrea took great care of us and the décor was an added bonus. We had the Tea for Two and were not disappointed. We look forward to future visits!

The Gryphon is an absolutely gorgeous space. Owned by SCAD, those design geniuses were smart to keep many of the original features of the building which in its first life was a pharmacy. We came in towards the end of high tea time. I was expecting a little more formality, but I guess I shouldn't have, and maybe that is... More

The Gryphon is a delightful dining experience, the servers are all students at SCAD, and they add a pleasant youthful atmosphere to the meal. Food is excellent.
