We came here for Sunday brunch and luckily arrived right in time to get a table for two outside. Reservations are evidently suggested at that time and day of the week. We contemplated ordering their traditional tea, but their brunch menu was so delectable we decided to do a bit of both. I would definitely recommend the earl grey specialty... More

Gryphon Tea Room has a unique vibe stemming from its past as an old school pharmacy and sofa fountain. Our server was great, loved the Georgia peach tea and it was a solid meal.

Get it with the Cucumber Dill salad, but hurry because it's apparently only a seasonal thing :( The place is ran by SCAD but don't be fooled, this place isn't your typical college-kid ran restaurant, this is fancy. White table cloths, rustic décor (a lot of it being original from the apothecary over 100 years ago), etc.

We stumbled upon this place walking around Savannah after taking a tour. We were hungry for lunch and this was the first place we spotted. The interior is beautiful! It used to be a pharmacy and features beautiful bookcases, bars, old pharmacy drawers and stained glass. My husband is a pharmacist and he got a real kick out of the... More

An old apothecary turned into a lovely tea room - great for high tea, soup, salad or a delicious sandwich. I wish they sold a recipe book as the blueberry scone that came with my high tea was amazing, the chicken salad was perfect and the pimiento with jalapeño cornbread and bacon was a tasty twist on the norm. We... More

This is one of the beneficiaries of SCADs historic building saving. It was a pharmacy, then a bookstore, and parts of both have been saved from the wreckers ball on a lovely square, wonderfully located. SCAD runs it, and it's very well done with a creative, albeit small menu and very good food.

My mother and I took a tour of Savannah and noticed the tea room on our tour. We walked over and waited for about 20 minutes for a table after 35 minutes we we're seated at the bar. We ordered the afternoon tea for two which is $20 each. It was disappointed in the quality of what was brought out... More

I went here about 20 years ago with my daughter and have been back about 4 times. I recently returned there on my way home from my 3,200 mile road trip. I had the crème burlier French toast with a fruit compote and maple syrup. I about died it was so good, This is in the historic district and not... More

We go to afternoon tea here each time we are in town. It is a cozy atmosphere and the food is good and the tea service, though informal, is fun!

Stopped here just by chance while walking around the city - what a find! The peanut butter, honey, banana and granola sandwich was enjoyed immensely. We had specialty fruit tea drinks that were so refreshing on a very hot day! Dessert was handmade strawberry and pistachio ice cream - creamy and full of fresh flavors.
