Great fun here from waiting in line to trying to decide which of the many flavors to choose from. Lots of space inside--don't let the line fool you--and it's worth the wait.

We stopped for ice cream on Saturday afternoon. We had to wait in line for a bit but it was worth it!! This is the best ice cream my husband and I have ever eaten. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for dessert that same night. There was a longer line in the evening but we happily stood... More

Nothing special - I have had better ice cream in Savanah, Ga. Just a block up the street there is "Rolled Ice Cream" Better flavor - same price

The ice cream is great! It is hard to find a good old-fashioned sundae or banana split filled with fresh ingredients. The service is great, too, although you want to catch it when the line isn't out the door. History and good ice cream make for a nostalgic stop in Savannah.

The queue for ice-cream was long and chaotic. Frankly, can't understand the hype. Completely average ice cream and slow service. Limited seating.

Worth the stop, calories and money. A cool place, pardon the pun and yummy ice cream and good variety.

Leopolds has been in Savannah since the beginning of time....the early 1900's and it is now right on Broughton St downtown.....old timers might remember it was on the corner on Habersham. Stopped by for ice cream last week when we were in Savannah and it was worth waiting in line for! Have never eaten anything there except ice cream...forever!

If you are an ice cream lover, then this place is worth the wait! The chocolate cherry cordial was rich and decadent, with bits of cherry and chocolate shavings. If you like chocolate, I would recommend this flavor. Loved the decor too, designed by an Academy Award nominee! A nice place to stop and have a treat when visiting Savannah!

If you see a line, don't be intimidated. It moves quickly and it worth it. Also the line gives you time to choose. I had an ice cream sandwich and my husband got a specialty milkshake. It was so delicious !

Loved my selection. Inside had nice nostalgic soda shop feel. Cashier was very sweet. We had no line at all; not sure that I would have waited in a block long line as others have mentioned.
