We just visited savannah last week, we were looking forward to eating here again. The restaurant was closed due to flooding. When they are open they have spectacular food. They serve infused gin cocktails.

This restaurant is located underground. Very cool. It felt as though I was walking into the NYC subway. The food was delicious. Try the artichoke goat cheese fritters! They're amazing and MUCH better than the fritters at the Olde Pink House, 100x over. The atmosphere was romantic and intimate. The service was outstanding. They even made me a specialty mocktail... Convenient location just down the street from City Market. Reservations are essential! Arrived early and had time to enjoy a cocktail in the lounge before dinner. Service was wonderful, both for pre dinner drinks and dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers, Oysters a la Soul and Alligator Fritters, and our server was kind enough to give us a complementary sample... More

My husband and I had reservations here. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the drinks were good. However, the food was just nothing to write home about. I had a ribeye steak. The cooked it to medium. Even if there is pink in the middle the outside of the steak should not be ice cold. I like my food... More

We had a very good meal at the Alligator Soul restaurant. I decided to try everything that seemed to be Southern Style cooking. I was very impressed with our waiter, Chadwick, who did a fantastic job serving us; as well as explaining the menu, and all the details of the ingredients. He made a great recommendation for my starting cocktail,... More

The restaurant is nice but, i felt the food was just ok. The service was great and liked the feel of the place. Just didn't think the food was all that good.

Got one of the best versions of shrimp and grits I've ever eaten here. Didn't want to stay (though the dining room was lovely and inviting) and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me with a lovely take-out. Thank you!

Loved dinner at Alligator Soul! The room downstairs from the street is really cool, the waiter was great, and the service was outstanding. The menu has quite a few interesting dishes, and everything we had was terrific. This was our favorite dinner in Savannah.

So we decided to eat at Alligator Soul based on on the positive reviews. We made reservations and arrived promptly but unfortunately we did not make it past the very kind female hostess. She informed us they have a "no hat" policy but went to the back to double check with her manager. A few minutes later she came out... More

I'm sorry you weren't happy with our dress code, Tony. We have worked hard to cultivate a specific atmosphere here, and attire is an important aspect of that. There are different rules for bar patrons and guests in the dining room, but the rule for the latter requires gentlemen to remove their hats before dinner. Still, I'm sorry you felt... More

In my trip to Savanna I was looking for something different to eat and I found it here. I went for the Elk stake and it was great. The place was nice and the atmosphere was charming.
