My wife and I were told that we had to come check this place out. We had dinner reservations at 9:00pm and it was well worth it. The food and service was great. Would definitely go back again.

We split an appetizer and dinner, love that they have the option to add sides to the split plate. The drink menu has some classic and special choices, it was fun. We enjoyed the fried green tomatos and the warm bread was delicious. We shared the braised bison, it was moist and oh so tender. The apple tart completed our... More

We had high hopes walking into the restaurant, having been told it was Savannah's finest. We made New Year's Eve reservations long ahead of time. When we arrived, there was much confusion over where we were to sit/ which table was ours. It took a few minutes to sort out. Our server was ill (had a cold and a red... More

We were told that this was an awesome restaurant with great food and attention to detail. As a result we booked a reservation for our 7th Anniversary. Table and accommodations were very nice, they even surprised us with an Anniversary gift (nice touch) Bread, drinks in cold metal glasses were great! Appetizers were also good Alligator Bodine and She Crab... More

We walked in tonight with no reservations and were seated immediately. Service was terrific - everyone was very attentive and incredibly friendly. Wine list was great as well as local craft beers. We had bacon wrapped filet and bison short ribs. DELICIOUS. Probably the best steak I've ever eaten. Cute basement setting and close to shipping on Broughton to walk... More

The service, food and atmosphere at Alligator Soul is second to none in Savannah. Our Server was Robert, but every server in the restaurant assisted. Our water glasses never fell below half full. Our wine was chilled and served with perfection. The "Carving Board" was an excellent choice as a starter. The cheeses, meats and other offerings combined to make... More

This is in a large cellar which use to be a storage cellar many years ago. The owners turned it into the most pleasant restaurant with a good size bar, and fire place that you can enjoy in a couch/chair grouping while you await your table. We had She Crab Bisque, Shrimp and Grits, Smoked Duck Breast. FANTASTIC!!!! The Chef... More

Our group started with some oysters and the cheese (and so much more) board. Most of us tried the Gentlemen's Flight of whiskies. My gumbo and shared shrimp & grits were both good. Raymond took excellent care of us. This was a relaxed, tasty, enjoyable experience.

The quality of food does not match the quantity of money requested. Drinks were way too sweet. Service was okay, not great. I won't be back. There are MUCH better places to spend your money in town.
