So I've been hearing some great things about this place for a while and finally made it down here to eat. They've been closed since May due to the flooding and finally reopened last week. First off, the food is good, and everything is very tasty, but is not worth the price in my book. The Soul Sangria is delicious.... More

I went there with my son as he likes seafood and we heard good things. However, the food was mediocre and the prices were extremely high. Just for the two of us, it was over $100. I expected it to be around $60 or $70. However, when he brought the check, I about had a heart attack. My son didn't... More

We had a great meal at Alligator soul. It serves delicious good quality southern food with a twist - the food is not generic and the chef has definitely put thought into the flavours of his dishes. The ingredients were also good quality. The waiter understood the food and was really helpful. The cocktails were great and the wine options... More

As you walk down the steps to this historic below-ground space, a blast of hot air hits you from the air conditioner vent. This adds to the blast of overly loud music being piped onto the street. Not the greatest welcome, especially when it's already 95 degrees outside. Three of the four of us ordered the catch of the day... More

My husband and I ate here for our last night in Savannah and we were happy we did. The food was great and though it got off to a bit of a rough start (a rude employee), we enjoyed our evening. We also enjoyed the ambiance of the basement-located restaurant. Candles on every table, light music playing, lounge area, &... More

Although the lighting is a little too dark. This quaint romantic restaurant has bold favors on the exotic side of the menu that would leave you wanting more. Well worth the wait to open due to a storm that forced them to close. The remodel is clean and attractive with the perfect staff that are pleasant and courteous to your... More

We had dinner here with another couple on a visit to Savannah and greatly enjoyed it. The restaurant was downstairs in an unimpressive buidling, but the food and service were great.

Enjoyable restaurant with an interesting ambiance. Very good food with excellent service. When the waiter learned it was our 30th anniversary, we were treated to a bottle of wine and dessert.

We took a family outing for mothers day this year and made reservations here due to the wonderful comments online and some friends suggesting this uniquely named destination. We were pleased with every aspect of the evening from our greeting to the last bite of dessert. We had Lamb chops, elk, and the Ribeye and it was all fantastic. The... More

We made reservations for my birthday dinner celebration here at Alligator Soul based on the positive reviews on Trip Advisor and let me say we were not disappointed. The food and service were absolutely amazing. The staff was very attentive and made the evening most memorable. The food was very tasty as well as the wine flight. I highly recommend... More
