First stop on the Savannah Food Tour this year. We stopped in for a light meal. The she crab soup was rich, warm, and full of crab! Highly recommend. For the price you can't beat it. The fresh oysters were also a hit! They were...fresh and large. A friend had the oysters Rockefeller and loved them. Our waitress was lovely; she was attentive and answered all of our questions. And we had a lot!More

Made a reservation sand was seated a little early. Very nice staff. The hush puppies were good and served on a bed of shredded cheese and bits of ham. The salad was huge and very fresh. Mushroom caps were generously filled with crab stuffing. Nice...dinner. Right on River StreetMore

Very good food, we love to come here and eat when we’re on River street. The atmosphere is always good and it’s in a great location to shop after your meal.

Okay, we were just looking for a simple meal....and we lucked out! We were seated at Mandi's table, and she was great; I naturally ordered shrimp & grits for our first night in town, but my wife got the "bark boil" which is basically a...bowl of bouillabaisse in a cast iron crock. The broth had a nice tangy bite, not Old Bay or pepper, but rich and slightly spicy. My shrimp was good - nice grits, and good seasoning; b ut the boil was fabulous. Mandi also gave us some local info on sights to see and things to do in Savannah. On a coolish Tuesday in January,, the restaurant was not crowded, so don't expect such great attention in tourist season, I bet.More

We had a good dinner at the Shrimp Factory. Making a reservation is recommended for dinner wherever you go, as we have realized since we have arrived. Our server, Haley, was excellent and very attentive. We appreciated her recommendations and her making accommodations to menu...changes. We started with a pound of the peel and eat shrimp. Hubbie had the stuffed grouper and I had a crab cake and a Cesar salad. We ordered a margarita and a peach sangria. My only negative comment is that the drinks, compared to other restaurants, were small and low in alcohol for the price. Otherwise it was a good meal.More

The soup, salad, and the Low Country Boil were all very good and not as expensive as I thought it would be with it being on the pedestrian mall at the river front. The only issue that I had with the whole experience was the...way in which my payment was requested. Having the server stand there with a tablet and a freaking large tip request made it uncomfortable for me to leave less. The suggested tip started at 22%! I didn't leave that much, but I probably would have left more than I did if I had a moment to actually do a computation. It is really important for me to be able to relax before, during, and after a delicious meal. The before and during were fine. The after part-not so much.More

We dropped in for snacks. Julia (who is understandably a local legend) took great care of us. She brought us firecracker shrimp and fried green tomatoes, both of which were fabulous. Local beer and fun people…it’s a ‘can’t miss’ spot!

We stopped here for a snack and drinks and had a good experience. I ordered the shrimp cocktail, which was pretty good and the mermaid breeze cocktail, which was a smaller portion for how expensive it was, but still very tasty. The waitress was friendly...as well. Would recommend stopping by.More

The other area is the restaurant, I enjoy...the shrimp gritz, tradicional plate from Savannah, highly recommend.More

The waitress was horrible. Actually said "give me your two orders so I don't have to come back to your table. The oysters weren't on ice and were the wrong amount. A good waitress wouldn't have accepted them. We were going to get the fish...platter and that was $75, add drinks and your well over $100. That should be a good tip, however her wonderful service rewarded her $0.63. We told the manager and he said he would handle it.More

Very friendly staff , food is ok , too much butter and oil for our taste , food was extremly salty , much more than someone can absorb in one meal.
