The wait staff was attentive and polite. A little disappointed in the food. Good but not exceptional as I was expecting.

This is an old Savannah institution that targets mainly the tourists. The original building is very atmospheric but the extension is enormous and lacks character. The enormity also makes it very noisy. If you intend to visit the restaurant ask for a table in the old building. The food is above average. We started with blackened oysters which were delicious... I ate at the Pink House many years ago, but my wife had never been. Our younger son lives in Savannah, so we decided to celebrate her birthday on Tybee Island. Her birthday dinner location was a complete surprise until we walked up to the entrance. Decor was beautiful, service was impeccable. She order the sirloin for her meal. We... More

On a recent trip to Savannah we used Tripadvisor to find a place for lunch and as usual it did not disappoint. This is an amazing place in a large home originally built in 1777. You dine in various rooms of the house among period art work and furniture. The lunch menu is extensive as is the wine list. We... More

First everyone should go - you have to have a reservation - DON'T SHOW UP UNTIL YOUR RESERVATION!!! - there is no place to wait - bars and lounges are small and unbearably crowded and some of staff appear upset they aren't in main restaurant and tried to take it out on customers waiting for their reservations! Once you finally... More

What can I say... food was slow to arrive. So much so that the waiter came and told us a story about the history of the house to keep us occupied while we waited for our food. When the food arrived, some of the items were lukewarm and others too salty. The house is beautiful and quite romantic. Unfortunately the... More

Great place for romantic dinner, ask for a quiet table. We were in a small room with only 6 or 7 tables, all candle lit. Larger dining areas were pretty noisy. Food was excellent. Recommend the shrimp and grits and fried green tomato appetizers. Dessert was a basket made from pecans with ice cream that was excellent. Ask for a... More

The Olde Pink House was a perfect ending of a great day. The hostess was most accommodating to our party. Our waiter was on point with suggestions and food preparation. The service was fast without making us feel rushed. The food...delicious! The swordfish was out of this world. Three out of four in our party were celebrating birthdays, but they... More

I have been stopping off in Savannah for many years now, and always make the Pink House one of my "must go to" places! The staff are super and knowledgable, the food quality is consistent and the buzz and ambience unbeatable. The bar area, in particular, is very conducive to meeting people and striking up conversations.
