On our 4th trip to Savannah we finally made it to the Pink House. I'm disappointed we never made the time before, but I know we will make the time going forward. On a whim I on a Friday morning I checked their available open...times and they had a 1:00 reservation available. We made the reservation as we were to pick up some friends from the airport at 2:30. We were seated in what I would call the front parlor directly to the right when you walk in. It was a small round table with two large leather wing back chairs. They were odd chairs for dining, but they totally went with the historic charm of the house. I ordered Max's Fried Chicken and it was the BEST fried chicken I have ever had. The portion was huge, as it included a whole half a chicken of 4 pieces. It was served with mac and cheese, which was also delicious. That fried chicken the best meal I had of our entire trip and I will be dreaming about returning for more. Don't put off the dining experience like we did for many years, make a reservation and enjoy. And order the fried chicken.More

A beautiful setting, with exceptionally good food. The service was also very good—friendly and professional.

We’ve heard all about this huge pink house and just had to give it a try. Thankfully the concierge at our hotel was able to pencil us in a reservation. Of course the decor is beautiful and this is an 1800 home. The history is...rich around the whole area. Our entrees were okay and the waitress was great! I would go back only to show someone new. Again, the history is what makes it.More

This restaurant was recommended multiple times so we decided to try it-even though we ate at 9pm! We ate in the bar area as the main restaurant was full. I had the pecan crusted chicken-really good. My son had the chicken pot pie-good. My daughter...had the Caesar salad, potatoes, and Mac n cheese which were all just OK. Although the food was overall good —the best part of the restaurant was the atmosphere and the service.More

To be completely honest the food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered the salmon and it was extremely salty. The staff was super friendly, they get some extra points for that :) Like the title says, the restaurant is beautiful, the...building itself is worth the visit. Prices are fine, not too expensive.More

The food, staff, and environment was outstanding, and it was such a surprise to eat in the old bank vault. We can’t wait to go back again.

Exquisite honeymoon dining experience on the terrace; Sadie was our wonderful server, and she completed the fine-dining experience with her cheerful, professional, and intuitive interactions. The foods was divine, as was the ambience. Thank you to all who made the experience especially positive and memorable,...including Christian, who was a new host.More

They kill it here. When southern chefs do it correctly, they really do it well. This was our second most treasured restaurant on our vacation.  Our favorite was the Lucky Rooster in Hilton Head.  The piazza is so lovely and the house itself is so celebrated...and impressive.  The undeniable star of the show was the food.  We loved the fried green tomatoes (why don't we have these in Arizona?)  My daughter had an astonishing pork chop milanese which was good like the Italians do Vitello Milanese.  I had shrimp and grits and it was simply sublime.  There is no gaffe coming here.  If you love southern food this place will bowl you over.More

Great food, drinks and service! We were delightfully surprised by the quality, flavors and freshness of the food. Oysters, green fried tomatoes and shrimp/ crab/ sausage spring rolls for appetizers, then the “can’t miss” crispy flounder (same recipe since 1979!) and fried lobster tails...sooooo good!...Our server er Nick was pleasant and fun, a good representative of the people in the Deep South. Will absolutely recommend this place.More

You should dress smart and nice - it has an old south feel and that should be respected.
