Great for a quick take out, not gourmet Chinese.

When we are in the mood for soup, we often order their wonton soup. The wonton's are usually quite good and the broth is a nice rich chicken style that is good when you aren't feeling well. Savannah doesn't really have good Chinese restaurants, so this is our go-to for here. It's never going to compare to some of the wonderful full-service Chinese restaurants where we've eaten; but we have found some consistent favorites.

This Chinese restaurant has been my go to for the last 4 years. They never disappoint. An order of chicken wings, pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken feeds my family of 3 with left overs for 1 in the next day. The best Chinese restaurant this side of the Truman Parkway. This is almost always a takeout meal.

Close, NOT that great

I was "jonseing" for Crab Rangoon and the place we like the most for Crab Rangoon, was on the other side of town....this place is really close to our home. This was the first time we have tried them. I'm willing to give them another try w/ other items on the menu... BUT! I was very disappointed in the Crab Rangoon. The wonton wrapping was thick and tough; the filling was mostly cream cheese, there was no seasoning to speak of...and I think they just waved a piece of crab over the fryer to the fryer.In fairness, the items were taken straight from the freezer, BUT, they did serve it. Service ranking was based on a take out order...so it was timely. Additionally, the item's preparation was NOT the traditional "basket-like" wonton, it was, instead, just folded over, forming a triangle. So, needless to say, I'm still "jonesing" for Crab Rangoon.

First of all, this restaurant is a little bit hard to find for non-locals, tucked away in the Kroger shopping center. Secondly, the ambiance is absolutely abysmal. It's obviously a take-out place. We were the first customers in the store on a Sunday. The tables were all sticky and there were greasy fingerprints on the glass surfaces and drinks cooler. Cleanliness and pleasing appearance are obviously not high priorities for this restaurant. We placed our orders and the food came out relatively quickly. I had the fried rice with mine, which had an odd aftertaste. My partner had the steamed rice and he thought it had a flavor like rice pudding. The rest of the food was passable. Given the previous reviews, we were very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it.

Cheap food with mystery meat

I ordered lunch here based on positive reviews from google. I am not sure what those people ate but my lunch was terrible. I ordered garlic chicken that had no flavor of garlic. There were vegetables mixed in that could not be identified. The fried rice tasted as if the grease used was old. The lunch menu has a low cost which directly relates to the quality of meat used. The chicken did not taste or have the texture of typical chicken.
