It’s a hole in the wall and a little hard to find but it’s absolutely worth it. The low country boil is the best choice to make. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices for what you get. Fresh seafood at its finest.

The freshest best-tasting seafood I've had in a long while. It's a no-frills place with newspaper for tablecloths, but the food was outstanding and not outrageously priced given the portion sizes. We got there right when they opened on a weekday in the off-season, so...they weren't very busy. After we finished eating we stayed a while at the bar, talked to the proprietor. Everyone was so nice, it made you feel like you were at home there!More

This place is classic, old school, raw, and beautiful. They don't make 'em like they used to. Best boiled shrimp in Savannah, exceptional deviled crab, prepared by a small handful of people — the same family has run this place for over half a century....If you like a lot of food in a hurry for not much money and you're a real brat and you can't handle tearing open some high-quality shrimp and crab legs on a newspaper tablecloth paired with a cold beer like it's the good old days, and maybe catching a little good natured flack from the proprietor while you're at it, you should spare all involved and just go to Chick Fil A.More

Great place to enjoy a little serinity. Opens at 5 pm. Limited seafood menu. Best crab cakes in town. They serve oysters in the shell, (you shuck'em).

Grandparents came here in the 1970s at the suggestion of a neighbor who grew up in Thunderbolt, GA, where the place is located. Parents came in the 1990s and now I'm coming and I'll be back. Food was amazing, so flavorful and fresh. The shrimp...were boiled and they really know how to season them. There was a crab dish that I can't recall the name of, like a crab cake, that was really good too. The sausage was delicious. It is a little pricey, and the food took a little while to arrive, but it was worth it.More

Good seafood. Special cocktail sauce. Very fresh seafood always. Modest accomodation and very casual, but really good food.

A friend told us about this place. We stopped for a quick bite after landing in Savannah. It was darling, right out of a movie. The waitress was super sweet. We ordered some deviled crab and peel eat shrimp. The shrimp were the best I...have ever had. The place was super clean! I actually just loved all of the charm there. I would highly recommend a stop for a quick bite. Prices were reasonable.More

My husband and I like to avoid tourist traps whenever possible, and we both like hole in the wall local restaurants. So when we saw this place on Delicious Destinations and since we were in the area, we went to try it out. When we...got in, the place was lacking in everything. First off, the place was beat up which we don't really care about if the food was great. My husband ordered a Low Country Basket with consist of 1/2 lb shrimp, cut up potatoes, 2 piece of sausages and 1/2 corn on the cob. Everything on his plate was boiled down. I ordered 1/2 lb of shrimp and 1/2 dozen steamed oyster and there's no sides that comes with the order. We spent $50 there and weren't even full when we left.More
