About
The Six Pence Pub was established in the Historic District of Savannah Georgia at a site that had been a Pub for more than forty years. In Savannah, Wally's Sixpence was the place to meet and greet new and old friends, and just keep up with each other's lives. Wally and Doris, being from London England knew how to make our British expatriates, and locals feel right at home. Wally was long on conversation, and Doris would prepare lunch at home ( there was no kitchen in the Pub) to serve to patrons until either it was gone, or when Wally and Doris just wanted to go home for the afternoon. In 1999 two gentlemen with too much time on their hands purchased their favorite watering hole, and began expanding

Located on Chippewa Square near Savannah Theater. Not your typical bar. Many exotic beers on tap, great English style food. Sheperd's Pie and Chicken Pot Pie were delicious! Reasonably priced and if you are gpoing to the theater its a perfect dinner place.

Loved the Peach Sweat Tea cocktail! Friendly service. Food wasn't bad for a bar. Returned twice during our trip.

This was by far the best pot roast I have ever had. I highly recommend it. The pub was what I would expect to see in England. Lovely quiet atmosphere. Very good food and a pretty bar.

An English pub in Savannah with typically English dishes if you want. I had a shepherd's pie at $14,95 which was good but not great as was the chicken sandwhich and cole slaw my wife had. Restaurant clearly benefits from its location and style.

Located just off of Chippewa Square. A nice little pub will cool you off on a couple of freaking hot days. A big British thing going on and quite a collection of caricatured steins. You could keep yourself preoccupied at the bar trying to identify...More

I've eaten at many British/Irish pubs both in the US and UK. I've never been served a Guinness stew in a bread bowl though. The gravy was very light, with an almost flour taste. It was nowhere near the rich deep brown gravy that the...More

I would call and see if they are open and if a reservation is needed. This is more of a bar and grill restaurant. You may want to look into "The Pink House" which has nice rooms with fireplaces. A little more expensive. I... More

Not sure. This time of year you should not have a problem though. I've been there twice, and got seated right away.
