As our hotel had canceled breakfast due to COVID, Henry’s was quit close and provided a reasonable and moderately priced option. As the restaurant was quite busy, a couple of additional servers would have helped.
We came here for breakfast. The buffet was a bit disappointing, since things were just basic. Bacon tasted okay and the sausage patties were so much better than the links. My wife ordered off the menu and that is definitely a better option. Thins get...cooked as you like them and are fresher. Overall, we would recommend this place and would go again.More
We stopped for lunch (around 12:30p) on a Sunday during our recent Savannah visit. When we walked in, the hostess let us know they only had 3 servers (one being their owner who she pointed out) and asked us to be patient. All the servers...were clearly hustling. They had tables open, but none yet cleaned. We only had to wait a couple minutes to get a clean table. Hand sanitizer was everywhere. Once we sat down, we had quick and friendly service. I had the breakfast combo with pancakes and my husband had Henry’s special, a chicken breast covered in cheese with veggies (at the suggestion of our server). The food was really good, with large portions at an affordable cost. Their menu is also huge, with tons of options. The other place recommended to us was Clary’s Cafe, which we went to later in our trip. However, we had a much better experience at Henry’s and enjoyed the food more. I would definitely recommend Henry’s if you are in Savannah.More
Poor quality food. Buffet tasted like prison food- $11.50... no salt on anything that I ordered. Ranch tastes like spoiled milk, biscuits hard, French toast taste like rotten mildew chocolate.... sad :(
The food was great and the prices were cheap as well. The staff wasn't the best. They aren't the most attentive group of people. They seemed to all be in their own little world. One woman seemed to be on the restaurant's phone taking a...personal call. It was just a lot of stuff going on. I would recommend this place to others just for the food.More
Half of the servers were not wearing masks the other half just had them over them mouth but not nose. When I asked my server to put on a maske he mumbled "whatever." After I told a couple who were about to sit in our...section, "you may want to move because your server will not wear a mask", the server accosted me yelling that if I had a problem with him we could "meet outside" and I was interfering with HIS INCOME.More
Henry’s was recommended by the staff at Planter’s Inn where we were staying and we ended up eating here 3 mornings during our stay in Savannah. Rarely do you find a place that is both good, inexpensive, and quick, but Henry’s is all three. The...food was wonderful, the servers were friendly, and the restaurant is set up where the kitchen is open and you can watch them cook your food. I would’ve loved to have tried their breakfast buffet which is offered on the weekend, but we were there during the week. We’ll definitely be back!More
