For a French Bistro the crepes were lackluster, especially the dessert crepes. We found the waiter to be rather unfriendly. The restaurant is lovely to look at but only our entree, the shrimp crepes were tasty.

I was invited to the 'wine cellar' for a private party. Can I say how much I loved this room! We were all instantly in the mood for great conversation and food. I had the tomato bisque, halibut and chocolate cake...and the pre dinner bread was my favorite part. Nothing tasted right. The bisque lacked any range of flavors and... More

I often take clients here for business. It has a pleasant environment with quality selection of spirits. The noise level is such that allows for normal conversations.

The food, decor, and atmosphere is authentic without being a bit pretentious. The escargot, the duck, the fish...perfection. The service is very good without being overbearing. You will want to make reservations, and I recommend dining in the cellar for a very cozy and romantic experience.

We arrived about 7pm on a Saturday night, and sat down without a wait. The restaurant has two sides a bar/pub area and a sit down table side. We were seated in the bar side as the table area was full, this is a small facility. The service and atmosphere was phenomenal . The drinks were unique and tasted great.... More

We love this place. Quaint, casually elegant and the food is outstanding. Onion soup and Coquilles St.-Jacques may be best ever. Love the staff. Many menu treats. Enjoy!

Circa 1875 was our favorite restaurant experience in both Charleston and Savannah during a combined 9-day visit. The atmosphere seemed to be authentic, not touristy. The service, food and atmosphere were terrific. We ordered a special salad that we shared and entrees cassoulet maison and halibut. For dessert we shared a French silk chocolate pie.

We used to live in Geneva. This place is one of the top three French restaurants we have encountered in the US and we have been searching for a decade. Very "authentic" atmosphere and very friendly, competent service. They do a few things but do them very well, Interesting but somewhat limited wine list. The cassoulet and duck were very... More

Overheard a group talking about 1875 @ The Pink House. We decided to give it a try even though we didn't have reservations. Per suggested, sat in the bar and found a table right away. Loved our waiter James. His suggestions were on point. Ambiance was romantic. Food was perfect. Will be back!

Super cute restaurant. Escargot was better than I expected. All over the food was very good and the drinks awesome.
