We heard this was the place where the locals went. So after our hike through Savanah, we went out of our way, just slightly, to the Crystal, and found just the right place for folks that were thirsty, needed a friendly place to sit, and wanted great food. We sat at the bar, because the restaurant was busy, but also... More

Four of us had dinner there on Saturday before going to a show at the Savannah Theater. Although the Lamb Chops that were ordered were outstanding everything else was just so-so. The seafood was good, but not great. Two of us ordered the Pot Roast, Pot Pie and the amount of Pot Roast in the dish could fill up a... More

Great location and atmosphere. The menu is extensive so there's something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the homemade chips with blue chees. Outstanding cocktails, too. A really fun place to start our girls' weekend.

This place has a lot of charm but the food was very average. Great waiter, though. Within walking distance to just about any B&B.

The food and service are good. Nice ambience, you could hold a conversation, and the prices were reasonable. This restaurant was recommended by several local residents as well as local workers.

My wife and I ate lunch here and it was okay. The Blue Chips had good toppings, but the chips tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. The Fried Mushrooms where average as well. The spinach salad was the best part as it was tasty.

Transilience is a seasonal beer made by Southbound Brewing Company. It's impossible to find this late in the year, but The Crystal had it. Delicious! Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and funny. Sit in the bar area if possible. My wife and I ordered the N.O.G.S. burger. Mine had a giant chunk of bree in the first bite. Loved it.... More

Thanks so very much for your kind words! Ben, our Bar Manager tries very hard to stay on top of things! Glad you enjoyed the brew! N.O.G.S stands for "North of Gaston Street", the very oldest area of Savannah's historic downtown district and the folks who live there call themselves NOGS! I'm so glad you enjoyed the burger - it's... More
