Awesome food and a friendly bartender. Wine a bit pricey, but the shrimp and grits were wonderful. Very intimate little space.

Would have loved to have tried it however, when we were in, they said they opened at 5pm, TA said it was open. It is in the basement and very olde world. Imagine smugglers around a big fire, very dark and atmosphere was great but..... it was closed at 3pm! So, gave it 3 stars just for atmosphere.

I wish we had stopped here earlier in our stay rather than on our way out of town. We LOVED it. Amazing atmosphere. Super old feeling in an awesome way. Candles. Tasty and expansive drink menu. I'll be back.

We had to wait over an hour (it was a weekend and we didn't have a reservation), but we were in the bar and listened to the performer who was very good. The cornbread oysters were wonderful! OH - for a special occasion book the VAULT - it is in the wine vault and is a special romantic environment for... More

My husband and I stopped in for drinks before our dinner reservation at the Olde Pink House. Very charming atmosphere (dark with candles), great service and drinks.

It's like stepping back a few hundred years as you descend the steps into this great tavern bar. It's on the basement level of the Planters Inn on Abercorn St. With a definite "hidden speakeasy" feel to it, you will be treated to a great piano bar, cocktails and delicious food. You can order snacks or full meals and I... More

An old fashioned lounge bar with piano player that attracts an eclectic crowd. It's pricey and the drinks aren't special. It's very dark, small and crowded but you should check it out when in the area.

Stopped in for dinner and a drink and ended up only ordering drinks. After seeing the prices on the menu we opted to just have a beer and go. We are glad we stayed for the beers - the atmosphere was cool. Dark with mostly only candle light - it's hard to see anything when you first walk in -... More

Bring your phone - not to take pictures of the unique décor or of the outstanding food, but to use the flashlight function to read the menu. It is dark down there! It's in the basement of the Olde Pink House. It was probably our favorite meal in Savannah. The Chicken Pot Pie is massive. The fried lobster tail is... More

Dropped in to get out of the rain. Stayed for the excellent calamari and french wine served at the bar. Calamari was cooked perfectly and served hot. Sauces on the side (as it should always be.) and not just the rings, but all the little bits that are so crispy and nice. Had good (not great) service.
