The food was delicious. The serving sizes were big also. I could tell the staff was short-handed on Thursday but they did their best. As a business owner myself, I understand staff shortages at the moment. They were polite and worked well as a team....I definitely recommend this place but please have patience with the staff.More

Great location and breakfast. Biscuits were fantastic. Indoor and outdoor dining. Had a traditional breakfast and portions were large. Would go back.

This place is located down on the riverfront. Great name that would lead you to expect a great breakfast. Couldn’t be further from the truth. Food taste was just ok and they have a limited menu for breakfast. I have never been opposed to paying...for a meal regardless of the price but I do have two stipulations. It has to taste good and I don’t want to leave hungry. The food here was “just okay” at best and but was highly overpriced. Service wasn’t very good either. The location is on the waterfront but it is very small and only has two tables that overlook the river. I had an omelette and my wife had two eggs with a biscuit and grits. I will say that the biscuits were huge and my wife said hers was good. We took the second biscuit home with us. There are too many other sites to eat at before I would ever return here. Just an idea of the cost, $35 for a ham and cheese omelette and two eggs over easy with a biscuit, one coffee.More

Had a breakfast here before a conference instead of the hotel buffet and was not disappointed. Friendly staff, quick service and great food.

Aug 21, 2021 I went for breakfast solo. The hostess asked me if I wanted to sit at counter. As I went to sit on the stool, I noticed a couple with a dog, the dog was sitting on the chair, eating at the table....I was disgusted and mortified that a dog was on a chair eating at a table. I told the hostess I could not eat there and I left. The only thing I wondered was if I would get a plate licked by a dog…I-have no problem with working dogs on the floor, but dogs eating at table. This place was an unexpected surprise. Isaac was our waiter. He was engaging, personable, and humorous. The building was old and neat I’m it’s own way. The food was a bit pricey, but it was fantastic and worth it good portions too. We consider this...a must do again.More

French toast was excellent, a little pricey, but excellent! But the peach variety came with so many toppings, you couldn't even eat it because it comes with eggs and sausage. Their food cost must be outrageous, Biscuits are as big as your head!

Girls week, staying at the River Street Inn. 2 Cracked Eggs nearby and decided to try it. Definitely worth the wait. 2 of us had the peach french toast, and 2 had eggs/biscuits. Largest and most flakely biscuits ever! The french toast was awesome. Service...was impeccable, all staff so friendly, even though very busy. Coffee cups refilled frequently.More

My husband and I ate at both the restaurant on Bay St. and River St. The food was excellent. And the wait staff even better. On Bay St. Chris was our server and on River St. our server was Ike. They were so nice. And...boy do they hustle. It was such a nice experience.More

We waited almost an hour in the heat to finally be seated. They said it would be about 30 minutes or so and there were only two of us. There were two hostess' and one of them kept messing up who was next to be...seated and threw everything off. Once we finally sat down, I ordered a bloody mary from the bar. Turns out, their bloddy mary's do not contain any vodka, only saki, which was not advertised on the menu. I asked the server about it, and he had no clue what was in it and came back to tell us it was a saki mix because they do not have a liquor license. There was not a lack of servers, there were multiple servers being trained, but they tended to sit around and wait for food to come to run for customers in the restaurant and those coming in for to-go orders. We were looking forward to this restaurant so much since I have never been to Savannah and my wife hasn't been back since college and it was very disappointing.More
