My husband and i decided to try this place for a date night and they did not disappoint. We didn't have a reservation and they took us right in. we had a nice spot outside at the patio tables. They played old music, had Poe theme decor and quotes all around, and the menu was all Poe themed. It's a... More

This spot has been on my list for a long long time. I have heard so many good things, and this post will likely confirm your thoughts. I like it here. The bartenders are delightful, but not exactly gregarious. The drink selection is exactly what you would expect at a bar in Canton - a basic selection of wines and... More

Just a real nice pleasant urban vibe going on here. And the best part is the food is good too. If you're going to have vibe, be real and have good food as this place does. The staff is pleasant and professional. Attentive to all the things you expect. I even met the chef, who is a complete surprise. He... More

Good vibes. GREAT FOOD. You might want to make a reservation if you have a party of more than 2 as they fill up fast and don't have a ton of seating.

My boyfriend lives a few blocks from here, and we often go when we're too lazy to cook for ourselves! Both carry out and dining in are great options. Obviously, the restaurant itself has a rustic vibe, tributing to Edgar Allan Poe. Many of the dishes and drinks are named after Poe inspired characters, but you can always count on... More

The Annabel Lee is a small place with a big personality. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, with its creative tribute to Poe. The service was amazing; the bartender and waiter were so attentive, and ensured that our meal was perfect. Get the Duck Fat Fries! They are the best fries we have ever had—so delicious. As far as cocktails go,... More

If you are anywhere near the Canton neighborhood and are a fan of good food and/or Edgar Allan Poe then come check this place out. This small corner restaurant is EAP themed and everything is done right from the Tell Tale Heart ale on tap to the roving Poe impersonator on Poe's birthday and death day. Nothing is touristy and... Had a chance to stop in here and was surprised! Quiet, small bit packed with great food, drink and atmosphere! The owner has some beautiful artwork that is placed on the walls around the establishment and he also has an incredible painting of Edgar Allen Poe that he won't sell! It is situated above a table that you must make... More

We have been going to Annabel Lee's since 2008 and have never had a bad meal or experience there. It is the place we take out-of-town guests who inevitably love it as well. From the drinks, the ever inventive specials, the main dishes and desserts, the staff is very friendly and the owner Kurt makes you feel like family. A... More

I just don't get it. We read so many reviews about their amazing "Jumbo Lump" crab cakes, so we made the trip downtown to try them out. They were very expensive, but we never mind paying the price for really wonderful food. They were sadly inedible. Seriously. They were extremely mushy, had way too much mayonnaise, and not one jumbo... More
