Cinghiale has become my new dining gem. I recently ate there with some friends and we all agreed that we had one of the most superb dining experiences in a long time. The food was fantastic. Their Pan Seared Foie Gras was ambrosia; the Tagliatelle Risotto was divinely silky yet deep in its smoky and citrusy taste. Our group sat... More

In town for a meeting; a local recommendation took us to Cinghiale and we were grateful for the referral. The menu has many options without being overwhelming, and everything our foursome had was very good and reasonably priced to boot. Options on half vs. full servings offered opportunity to do some sampling, which was a bonus. I know I'll be... More

Wonderful menu, not the standard Italian American but more authentic Italian selections. Well Prepared and the service was excellent. Would certainly come back again next time we're in town.

The menu offers standard Italian dishes along with a comprehensive wine list. Party of five enjoyed the dinner very much the favorites were the Lasagna which is prepared in a crisp fashion and a brisket hat was very good. The menu could use more salad options by aside from that the dinner was very good and service was also excellent.

Really mixed here… if they carried it off the attitude just one more degree they would be pretentious, yet not doing so the service comes across as Hotel Budapest. There is a very deep wine list, yet on my visit there was no one who really understood its ins and outs. The food was very good (not great), yet the... More

I write great reviews for both good and poor service. Weeks ago, I made a reservation at this restaurant for a business dinner for 10 people. We are attending a conference in Baltimore. The day before the dinner, the restaurant called me to cancel the res.! I was left with 24 hours to scramble and find another place. They gave... More

We walked into Cinghiale with a party of 6 on Sunday night at 8:00 and the restaurant closes at 8:00. But they were very happy to seat us. The food was amazing as always but it's the service that really stood out. Granted, we were the only table, but Amy was the best server we have every had. She suggested... More

If you're looking for an upscale Italian experience I would highly recommend this restaurant. We ate here for restaurant week and I was slightly disappointed with the first course choices, but the second and third choices more than made up for this. I had the endive salad (no dressing, very bland, underwhelmed), the pumpkin ravioli (burst of flavors, home made... More

Cinghiale is better than ever. First, the valet parking on arrival is so convenient (note, Lancaster Street currently--January 2017--has a detour). We were promptly seated in the Osteria and met our waiter, who was outstanding at explaining the menu, which had changed format since our last visit in October 2016 (there's no more fixed price menu, all a la carte)....
