Yes the food is pretty good but there is nothing else good about this hole in the wall. The place is always short staffed and you wait forever to get service or to get your food. Dishes not very clean either. The other issue is that the owner (Mike) is consistently rude to his employees in front of customer's so... More

I’ve forgotten how busy coffee shops can be in the middle of the day – especially when they serve food this good. There was a long line to order - which gave me plenty of time to check out the menu. They have a lot more choices than what is written on the wall of ceramic plates. It’s laminated and... More

We frequent this place because the service and food is always reliable. (If you go during busy times, there is a bit of a wait...but understandable.) The staff work really hard to serve people in a very tight prep space, with often long lines from the Hopkins crowd. The frittatas are always good, the soups too. Lots of vegetarian options.... This is a perfect cafe in the city: you walk down into it and its very small. They are a permanent and changing menu with scrumptious coffee. They have oatmeal, bagels, frittatas and my favorite: Apple and Brie Sandwich. It also a great place to meet people or read/study.

We have eaten here a couple of times, as the cafe is close to the JHU campus and it was a convenient place to eat lunch after visiting our son. The cafe serves fresh dishes made on premises. Their quiches are delicious and their sandwiches are very good.

An absolutely amazing lunch spot. Although it's very small it has a lot of options for great meals and incredible coffee. We were in town for our niece's graduation from Johns Hopkins University. She recommended it and treated us to a great great lunch. I'm a vegetarian and had the special that was on the wall (plate) which was an... More

Came here because it's close to the hospital (Medstar Union Memorial). Great coffee & decent food. Healthy options too.

Made from the freshest ingredients Carma and Michael consitently put out very tasty food at decent prices. Tonight we had bean soup and sloppy joes and they were outsatnding. We always have one of their homemade baked desertsand tonight we decided to have the black bottoms and the chocolate macaroons...outsatnding!

Good food, bargain prices, cool if you like cozy spaces or outside dining, relaxed people. Near the Hopkins campus, so folks don't get their feathers ruffled by sharing tables. You stand in line to order, and may have to bus your own table, but the food is good, the prices great...and atmosphere totally relaxed.

Great place for spring and autumn, when you can hangout in the beautiful outside tables. Great for coffee, but also nice brunch spot. Try the meatball sub!
