I had an early dinner yesterday at Scoozzie’s with a friend - my first time there. Ordered the crab cake meal and it was one of the *best* and *largest* Maryland crab cakes I’ve ever had. And believe me, I’m a MD crab cake connoisseur! Hand cut French fries, excellent homemade cole slaw and yummy chocolate pudding rounded out the outstanding special - all for under $19! My friend loved her fried shrimp meal with mashed potatoes and cheese broccoli, all generous portions. Our server, a lovely lady whose name I wish I could remember, made us feel like old friends and encouraged us to stay and chat as long as we wanted. The ambiance was relaxed and comfortable and we sat in the bar afterwards to continue our conversation. The barmaid greeted us warmly and the atmosphere was friendly. What a great place for friends to enjoy together or for a date night! Hope to go back again soon even though it’s not as close to home as I’d like.

Some of the best steamed crabs and cold beer in Dundalk is at Scoozzi's. Friendly staff as well that works there.

Talk about a down home good ole fashioned home cook meal....then try this place. MD crab soup, 2nd to none! Crab cakes excellent. Hot hamburger steak, yummy. Don't miss their Coconut Cream Pie...to die for. Dining room was dark. They have a great bar separated from the dining area with 6-8 TV's. Go there, relax, and have a good ole fashion meal.

Scoozi: A Truly Disappointing Experience!
I have to start out by saying, that we USED to be long time Scoozi's customers, but the level of disregard & unwillingness to handle these last 2 issues, as well as, the serious decline, in the food quality, has changed that.
We ordered on 9/20/23 & were shorted a calamari & potato salad. No one was able to do a credit, for some reason or lack of knowledge, so we agreed to have it added on the next time we ordered.
.
The next time we ordered, on 9/30/23, we added those items, however, when it got here, there was a soda was ordered, with the rest of our order, which wasn't received. I was advised when I called, that the lady working there saw the driver drinking it & told him it was for the order, but she didn't give him a new soda to replace it ( I don't know, if I was supposed to drink the rest of the one, that he drank from, but this is now ridiculous) & again, no credit would be given, but if I wanted to send someone else to get the soda, that they would give it to us.
In addition, the replaced calamari had an awful taste to it, the food was cold & extremely greasy & my simple grilled cheese with bacon sandwich had no bacon at all & almost no cheese; it was basically a dry toast sandwich! I was sick the entire night!
I'm going to contest my credit card charge of $52, but wanted to WARN potential customers, to save your stomach & your wallet & order from somewhere else!
P.S. I want to add that it was a Door Dash driver, that was drinking my soda, so watch your food if you order Door Dash, as well!

Just left there, food was good, service was good, value was great. They even had a nice dessert menu. I had the Chicken Pot Pie, very good and too much to eat. The others had Rack of ribs, liver and onions and crab cake. Only complaint was on the Liver, it was a little tough. All in all it was good.

I've reviewed Scoozzi before, and I have to review it again because it just keeps getting better. This corner bar/restaurant has a super friendly staff, and they have lots of activities going on. Whenever there is a great game on you can bet that it will be featured on multiple TVs, and the bar will be packed with people who want to watch and talk about the game. There is a trivia night that is a great deal of fun with teams competing against each other for some great prizes. There is also karaoke a couple of times a week with a really great guy running it. The crowds get really big, and some of the signing is unbelievably good. The variety is also amazing, with a range from Elvis to Metallica, and a crowd that supports each other's music preferences. The crowd itself ranges from those in their 20's to those in their 80's, and there is great respect across the board. Stop in and have some fun!

The service is slow and the food is okay - its like they switched cooks. The crab dip is real good, but takes too long to get it to the table.

This is a corner bar and restaurant with unexpectedly great food. While my kids love the cheese steaks, I love the stuffed soft crab. The crab cakes are broiled and delicious, and the wings are made a special way that has the skin and coating flaking off. There are also great weeknight happy hour specials, including items for $5 such as three tacos, jalapeno poppers and more, and the beers are at happy hour prices too! Watch a game at the bar, sit at a booth around the bar, or have a meal in the restaurant.

Slow service. Uneatable hash browns, limited breakfast menu. Staff never even asked why plates of potatoes seemed untouched.

Not sure why a reviewer had this written up as a place in a hotel. There's not a hotel for miles of here. If you are looking for a quick bite don't stop here. Service is slow. Food is pretty good but DO NOT order the pickled beets. Not sure what's on them but they taste like some sort of cleaning fluid. Yuck. Stick with breakfast.

We got into town too late to head down to the Inner Harbor and were disappointed that we couldn't get crab cakes at the harbor. Although they were very expensive at Scoozzi, they were excellent as well as the corn and tomato mix they were on. Darryl was just a nice as could be. I'm sure they are a lot of restaurants to choose from, but don't leave the hotel to go somewhere else...it's definitely worth staying in for.

Does brown tipped lettuce, 3 Greek olives and a vinegar/ oil seasoned dressing (on the side) make a Greek salad? I think not!! One of the 4 grape tomatoes was bad. A half lb. ( yes exaggerating slightly) of red onions made it worse.
Hubby and Dads food was good. Meatloaf melt on Texas toast.
Yuck!!
