We have been regular Ejji customers for years and have tried very hard to support them through the pandemic with delivery orders and in-person dining. DH is an omnivore; I am pescatarian and cannot have pork in any form as it does unspeakable things to...my insides. I went to Ejji on my own for lunch today and was told they did not have the ONLY seafood ramen item on their menu as it's "too hard to make it." They had shrimp tempura, so... curry broth is too hard to make... really? I was really hungry, so I ordered the veg ramen minus the butter and added shrimp tempura and two veg at up-charges, meaning that I was now paying $20 for a bowl of noodle soup. Noodle soup that didn't even have the broth I wanted. Actually, it had really, really bad broth. The dish tasted so bad (imagine a $20 bowl of salt water with some veg and noodles floating in it) that I ate the shrimp and a couple of bites of veg, then set the rest back on the counter. The staff asked what was wrong and I said "I can't eat this; it tastes really bad." No offer of a refund or even a discount despite the fact that at least one person on the staff recognized me and we always tip well. Okay, so we'll only eat ramen in NYC from now because restaurants there have PAGES of seafood options as well as non-insipid veg ones.More

We were at the Belvedere Square Street Fair. We went into Ejji for ramen. It was so good! It's made with all fresh ingredients. You personalize your own dish to your preference. There are many styles of noodles, even gluten free! There are many vegetarian...options as well.More

I must express my disappointment. I’ve been an frequent customer since this business first opened within Belvedere Square Market. After work for dinner I decided I wanted one of my favorite dishes. So I picked up an order to go. Got home looking forward to...enjoying my meal. Took a bite and it was disgusting the noodles tasted like they weren’t cooked and had an gummy texture and taste. That’s when it hit me that I saw too of the cooks discussing the noodles while one held a noodle up. It’s disappointing that clearly they knew something wasn’t quite right with the noodles and decided to sell them anyway. So I had to leave the comfort of my home to go back to the restaurant and they didn’t seem surprised by my complaint. Offered to replace it but I declined and request a refund. I did tell them I would be righting a review and they have officially lost a customer. I suggest if you decide to live on the edge tase your noodles before leaving because don’t want you to have the same experience I had.More

Excellent food! Listed as one of the top ramen shops in the country, Ejji proves itself deserving of the name! With a create your own or a few different ramen types, even my picky husband was happy. The kitchen staff is super nice and they're...owned by a Malay family, so expect some Malay influences in some dishes that are killer! The pork ramen is my favorite dish and the fried pork belly is a must 🤤 they even have weekend mimosas and breakfast ramen!More

I visited Ejji Ramen in Belvedere Square market this weekend. I have heard it is good and wanted to try it myself. The service was quick and very friendly. Plenty of staff to keep things moving along smoothly. I had one of the signature ramen...bowls... Tonkotsu Pork Ramen bowl. The dish has noodles, fried pork belly, some leafy veggies, half a hard boiled egg, and shredded char siu pulled pork. The broth was good and the flavor is fairly subtle. The pork belly is served on the side so it stays firm. The noodles had a great taste to them. The shredded char siu was a little subtle on flavor. Overall a great bowl at an expected price of $12. Overall I thought it was good and I would come back. I would probably try something else the next time to be honest. I am comparing this place to Mi and Yu Ramen and it doesn't quite stack up. Mi and Yu is better in my opinion. The dashi broth at Mi and Yu has a richer flavor profile and the pork belly is char broiled not fried. I believe the pork belly at Mi and Yu is definitely better. Price is about the same. If you are in the area or the market you can't go wrong with Ejji. If you have time to goto Mi and Yu I would recommend that instead.More

Two for dinner before a movie at the Senator on a Saturday evening. One of us had the pork, the other the shrimp, and we had an order of satay as well. All three dishes were fresh, delightfully presented and flavorful. The service was helpful,...polite and knowledgeable. We'll be back!More

I visited Ejji Ramen for the first time today but it won’t be my last! I created a build your own with lobster broth, spinach and shrimp ramen. Everything was delicious! The only complaint I have is that I wasn’t aware that I would only...receive 1 shrimp, and they don’t accept cash but besides that it was really good! The ladies that work there a really nice too!More

There's not too many ramen places in the Baltimore area and Ejji is the best. The tonkotsu porky ramen is a must try. It's simple but full of flavor. Service is great, the place can be busy but you don't feel rushed. You get a...good attention from the staff just like if you go to any Tokyo ramen house. You are taken care of but nobody hovering around you asking if you want/need something.More

This ramen was different than your usual homemade stuff...the broth tastes almost a mixture of traditional ramen broth with coconut milk. I got a breakfast ramen bowl (served all day on weekends) with bacon, kurabuto sausage (which was GREAT), tamago (which was really tasty), and...egg...it was pretty, pretty, pretty good. My husband got the pork ramen and I had a bite of the pork belly bits they gave for it and that was really good. The noodles in the ramen are really remarkable, too. Go early..parking is tough.More

I can't believe this is my first time visiting Belvedere Square! I was SO hungry and looked up the various shops on the website for B Square and came across Ejji. While reading the description I felt like I could smell the food through the...screen. When you go in there are other surrounding food stands. I proceeded to look around and found Ejji in the back. I decided to order the Tonkotsu Porky Ramen which was stated as one of the Faves. I sat at one of the tables and about ten minutes later my food was ready. I went home reheated my broth and went to town on this dish. The first bite was amazing. I do love salt so I added a pinch of that and some sriracha. My taste buds were singing the whole time from the broth to the noodles, crispy pork belly and pulled pork. Everything was just wonderful! Can't wait to try the breakfast bowl nextMore

Delicious and authentic ramen in Baltimore. I love their corn miso and tonkatsu broths which are true to Japanese cuisine. The noodles and toppings are fresh and the food is filling but not heavy. Great winter dinner or lunch comfort meal joint.

If you're looking for Ramen and inventive tastes, Ejji is the place to go. The food court has plenty of tables available, with all ages. Sata was a super positive and helpful server. We enjoyed the Vegetable Gyoza -- just crispy enough, tasty and a...reasonable portion. The Laksa had a good curry flavor, with excellent noodles ; could have used another piece of seafood, perhaps a small piece of fish! the Build your own was with pea pods, spinach and pulled pork, all excellent flavor and the miso is mild enough yet tasty. Could have used a little more pulled pork! A nice mix of wine and beer are also available; how about Buckler NA next time? Over we will return. PS: always give a receipt.More
