Been to Baltimore a handful of times. We are a big brunch family and will travel for food so wanted something not so touristy and where the locals eat and was recommended to Woodberry Kitchen. Great space, atmosphere and of course the food was delicious but have had better. There was a wonderful selection brunch pastries, donuts that is not... More

For years I have intended to dine in this reported gem, just never got around to it until recently. I was not disappointed, what a lovely dinning experience. When we first arrived we were seated in the bar area, it was just not my comfort zone (too tight and noisy). We asked to be seated in the more cozy side... More

Woodberry Kitchen pokes out from one of Baltimore's less than glamorous areas - and that's putting it mildly. Gentrification is happening full force in this part of Baltimore, and you really feel it driving through the mixed bag of neighborhoods. However, Woodberry has done a very nice job of fitting into the scenery - it is not pretentious; it is... More

I've heard the reviews of woodberry kitchen and was excited to try it. We went in the evening when it was dark and the outdoor patio and fire pit were super cool. The old mill renovation was great and created a super cool atmosphere. We ordered the red pea dip which was creamy and lucious. We also ordered the eggplant... More

I had a group dinner here with some coworkers, so I got to taste a variety of dishes. Everything was really wonderful. I had the barley out of the oven and roasted beet salad (more like an artful array of fresh herbs and beets that was beautiful to see and eat). I thought the wine by the glass was overpriced.

We had dinner there and enjoyed it very much. But the price was very high for good but not stellar tasting food. Too many restaurants in Baltimore charge for frills and ambiance instead of food quality/quantity. This is one of them. Probably won't be back because - for the price- there are places with food that is just as good... More

The food was so highly touted in so many articles that I went in expecting incredible. It was very good but I think I had super high expectations from all the press. So don't get yourself too hyped up and you will have a wonderful meal! Also, it was a far cab ride for us since we were staying closer... More

Terrific craft cocktails and solid cheese plate to start (I loved the rocket pesto, my husband focused on the blue cheese offering. Dinner was fabulous -- I had a scallop and grits dish, beautifully prepared; my husband did the signature hi men and biscuit. Will admit, I had my doubts about ordering chicken (usually a bland meal) but his was... More

My dinner at Woodberry Kitchen may be the best I have ever had! EVERYTHING about this restaurant is superb. The atmosphere is a bit rustic as the restaurant was a former foundry. There is beautiful brick and woodwork everywhere, and the place in quite inviting and relaxing. All the food is sourced locally, and the menu changes with product availability.... More
