I had a Turkish dumpling dish, my son had chicken. They both had nice sauces. The mezes were delicious, too!

We had a wonderful casual dinner date... Two of the meze choices for appetizer, the Mediterranean salads, and vegetable kabobs were delicious. The baked okra was satisfyingly comfortable

My wife and I just went for our anniversary. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was perfect!!! We were unfamiliar with Turkish cuisine and the waitress recommended having us try "The Sultan's Feast"- basically a sampling for 2 of a LOT of things on their menu. The Turkish spiced salmon was the... More

My husband and I had dinner at Cazbar. I ordered the Chicken Iskenda, slices of ground chicken with an excellent yogurt sauce on top of an extremely thick pita that was topped with a slight tomato sauce. It came with a side of strong onions and a really nice flavorful rice. Though the yogurt sauce was good and so was... More

Good experience from service to food and it was definitely enjoyable. The quality of my entree (Stuffed Eggplant) was prepared well and the ingredients tasted fresh. Portion sizes were adequate and appropriate. The interior of the restaurant has nice ambiance and is inviting and relaxing. Although this might be hedging as a more upscale restaurant you should feel comfortable that... More

Cazbar is a top of the line Turkish restaurant, with high end food quality and service, but very reasonable prices. Good Turkish wines too. The lentil soup was the first surprise - spicier than what we are used to, and rich in flavors. The Ground Lamb kebabs were also spicy - not fiery, but a nice tang to them. The... More

The management and staff of the restaurant really went out of their way to accommodate us on very short notice during a very busy time, right there setting the tone for the evening. The service from then on continued to be excellent, as did the food that arrived. Their middle eastern sampler with hummus, tahini, and the usual assortment of... More

I was married to a Turk so I have had the good fortune of spending a decent amount of time in Istanbul. One of my favorite things to do there was to go to restaurants that served workingmen (not usually women) long cooked stews. When I saw Cazbar with good reviews on Tripadvisor I knew that I wanted to try... More
