Faidley's Seafood, in Lexington Market, features fresh seafood in a casual setting. Place your seafood order by waiting in line - once served, if eating in, except standing tables only. That aside, their Crab Cakes are by far the best I've had in Maryland -...More

Visiting from Virginia, we wanted to check out Lexington Market for lunch. We parked in the convenient parking lot next door. After strolling the prepared food offerings, we decided on Faidley Seafood, which we learned is a Baltimore institution renowned for is crabcakes. We discovered...More

Best crab cake (expensive) that I’ve ever eaten. Best lobster bisque also. Lexington Market is old school, and a little run down, food market. This place looks like it has not changed since the 50s. But great food, very clean, and puts the charm in...More

Glad we stopped at the market, but would never go back. Crab cake was very good, and it should be for the price!! Crab soup was good, but only warm, not hot. Not a great area for kids, tourists.

This family run food experience has to be on any visit to Baltimore, situated within the Lexington markets, this is a place where the locals eat. All seafood steamed or traditional fish and chips. Exceptional value, local charm and support.

A must go place in Baltimore, especially for the ambiance within the Lexington market and the local experience. The crab cakes are indeed great as advertised, but I did feel it was a bit too pricey for the portions offered.

Lexington Market's gone through several incarnations over its long history, but for as long as I've known the place (a loooong time), Faidley's has been a beacon for seafood and local characters behind the counters. The crabcake is wonderful and (given the price of Maryland...More

No they do not take reservations; it's not a restaurant, per se, it's a good stand w/seating. Yes, it is a 5-10 min walk to the arena.
