Thank you for participating in Restaurant Week. We really appreciated your changing our table to a quieter table on the porch. Brian, our server, was attentive and so nice. He tended to our every need. We started with their famous Potato Skins Basket, always a crowd pleaser. Then, we all enjoyed the Caesar salads. They were crisp and fresh with... More

Each year we visit The Prime Rib for dinner. We've been doing so for many years. Our most recent visit proved as memorable as those from past years. Bob, our veteran waiter, was excellent. A real pro with a good sense of humor, he was efficient and courteous. Our dinner, as always, was wonderful. I began with the roasted tomato... More

For all of the readers who have been to this downtown location know the scene. Romantic, capital "R". Valet parking, tuxedo waiters, chic black furniture, leopard rugs, great piano music, etc. Menu is great and the seafood is as good as the Prime steaks. 4 for dinner with wine and the total was expected at $600.00. Greenburg potatoe skins, fabulous,... More

I always believe you go to a greT restaurant and order the signature dish. The Prime Rib is noted for theirs and they did not disappoint. Best I have had anywhere except in this fine establishment. My wife had the filet and it too was superbly prepared. Every dish was prepared perfectly and delivered with pride. Excellent dinner and complimentary... More

Although pricey, why not go for the wonderful food and awesome service. This place does not disappoint! They probably have the largest and tastiest oysters consistently than any other place I have ever eaten. From their drinks to their food to the ambiance and service - don't forget the piano player - just wonderful. They will split anything you want... More

There are many good restaurants in Baltimore but the Prime Rib feels like the place to go when you want to get dressed up. Upon entering the restaurant you are made to feel special by the host. Come early and have a drink at the bar while listening to live piano music. The servers are professional and friendly. The food... More

I recently visited The Prime Rib after telling others to their disbelief that I've never been. I can't believe I've been missing out all this time. The restaurant was beautiful. The Lobster Bisque was excellent and New York Strip steak was perfectly cooked. I found my new favorite drink, vodka which had been soaking in fresh pineapple. Our waiter was... More

This is a very expensive place, so diners have a right to expect all aspects to be top notch. We had great moments, but some slips. We decided the "great" outweighed the others. The entrees (beef, fish) were the best we ever ate. Everything is a la carte. Salad was good. Bread - very good. Escargot appetizer - disappointing (the... More

Enter the rarified world of The Prime Rib and you'll feel like you've somehow stumbled into another world. Think Downton Abbey in downtown Baltimore: time slows, piano music trickles in the background, tantalizing aromas awaken your appetite, pleasant waiters stand by to accommodate your every need. Take your seat amidst the neo-deco backdrop of black veneered walls, mirrors and elegant... More
