Restaurant has been around for at least 20+ years and was still packed which tells you something! Atmosphere: Quaint subterranean restaurant with a number of small rooms - felt like we were in spanish cave and gave a very intimate feel. We were dressed smart casual but noticed some men wore sport coats. They have a coat check. Food was... More

outstanding spanish food. this is not latin american food, this is spanish food. there is a difference. the food is upscale and pricy. only thing i could say negative about it is its location in a windowless lover level is sort of like a bohemian cavern type setting makes for a quiet satisfying meal.

When we visited, our waiter said there was a new bartender. I hope things have improved because the sangria and a margarita were not what we hoped for. The food was good, but the drinks were disappointing.

All I can say is "mouth watering" and the wine selection was superb. I will make this place more than just a special occasion type of place. It's a bit pricey but worth every cent!!!

We arrived on Saturday, December 17th right after they opened. We were the first customers there. We walked in and felt like we were interrupting a meeting or something, but were seated. We chose the suckling pig, the rockfish and the chicken and lobster combo (which was buried in sauce). The red sangria was good and saved the meal. We... More

I'd been hearing about Tio Pepe for years and was looking forward to a fun date night there with my husband. We dressed up and went on a Saturday night after making a reservation. It wasn't particularly crowded, but the welcome was chilly and the service went down from there. And the last time I had food this bad was... More

Parking across the street $7.00 - The 6:30 crowd was an older crowd the 7:30 crowd filled the seats. Best Prime Rib in my life ! They must char rare prime ribs to meet customers Medium Rare requests - Waiter did not know the Bourbon selection. Sangria could have incorporated a better wine selection. A 7:30 table near us was... As always, TIo Pepe's foods and service makes returning time after time when in Baltimore, as this means yet another delightful and terrific dinner. We go as a group and the food from the appetizers of puffed potatoes, garlic shrimp, salmon, etc. to the crab cakes and fish dishes are so terrific. The Sangria is tasty as are all drinks. Desserts... When our husbands went to a Baltimore Orioles/New York Yankees game, my friend Dawn and I headed to a classic Spanish eatery, Restaurante Tio Pepe. The food was great. But the atmosphere made the experience for us. The restaurant is cut up into many little rooms, so you feel as if you have a good deal of privacy. The sangria... More
