I ate at Roy's with a group of 20 colleagues at a business meeting. Despite the size of the group service was very quick. I had the ahi tuna entrée and it was delicious and served perfectly rare.

Menu and food are consistently excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and enjoyable. Service is very good. Doesn't quite knock your socks off, but it's definitely a consistently successful experience. Expensive.

We celebrated my best friend's birthday at Roy's. I had never been there and wanted to tey something new for the special celebration. We made reservations for a Friday night and they even have valet parking which is very convenient. Decor was okay but I wish the flowers were fresh instead of fake (you can really tell they are fake!).... More

Food was good. Portions were extremely small and overpriced. Service was good. The restaurant had just opened for dinner. There was no wait. Valet parking $8

This outstanding experience started the minute we sat down at the bar and received a wonderful greeting with the information that happy hour specials were still available and worth looking at. We thanked her and she not only introduced herself as Valerie but also introduce her assistant, Tammy, who was a little to busy to be aware of the introduction.... More

Excellent seasonal cocktails, sashimi appetizers were simply to die for. Ordered the filet minion and shrimp, steak came out very overcooked but they happily and swiftly brought another, proper medium rare filet which melted in your mouth. Topped off with lava cake and ice cream desert, Roy's Baltimore was an excellent example of fine dining. Bring your wallet and try... More

The delicious food could not make up for the fact that our meal took 2 hours and 43 minutes from the time we sat down until we left. Our first course of appetizers took an hour to arrive. Our salads took another 30 minutes, and our entrees another 40 minutes. And then we waited for desert (we pre-ordered the hot... More

Food was wonderful, very different than I’m use to but still wonderful. Portion sizes are small but filling. Especially the pineapple upside down dessert, topped with coconut ice cream and fresh berries. It was small but every bite was pure heaven! It had to be ordered in advance because it’s baked on the spot and takes some time to prepare.... More

Not too noisy, perfectly attentive service, and Hawaii-fresh seafood, flown in daily, Yes, you should eat Maryland crabcakes somewhere else, but enjoy Roy's for its terrific Hawaiian fusion meals. And don't forget to order at least ONE chocolate souffle for the table to share! Located a block from the Marriott Waterfront and walking distance from others in the area, it's... More

Went with a reservation for 2 on a Friday night and had no additional wait. We were seated immediately. Our drink order was taken and then we placed our appetizer order. The appetizers came out within a reasonable amount of time; 10 minutes or so. Our plates were removed from the table, and then the wait began. Almost one hour... More
