When we travel, we like to try restaurants from Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. So after watching this episode, we knew our trip to Baltimore must include Chaps. We were greeted with a friendly server who recommended choices based upon our request. We ordered the basic pit beef sandwiches with sides of macaroni and cheese and another of potato salad. The... Two things: I'm a BBQ junkie, and I'm a big fan of the ‎Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives show. So after dropping my partner off at BWI, I drove the distance, paid the tolls and found my way to Chaps, which was HUGELY touted on the show and at the very top of my list to try when in the neighborhood... Ever since we learned of this place through Diners, Drive ins and Dives many years ago, we have enjoyed every visit we make. We come from South Central PA on weekends when we don't have plans. It will get busy but they keep it moving. Great sandwiches, stuffed full. We will be back!

We love the food so much! My husband bought some meat to bring back to NC! Second visit and it was just as good as I remember! Will visit anytime we are in the area!

We were at nearby Johns Hopkins and I had seen the tv episode. So I thought it would be a great idea to travel the 2 miles. First it is in the parking lot of a strip joint and across the street from an Adult video store. So I wouldn't put this down as a family restaurant. But atmosphere is... More

I no longer live in the part of Baltimore Chaps is located in (thank God) but for my birthday this year we took the hour drive to Chaps for some serious food. Google the two episodes Chaps was featured in "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" and you'll get a good idea of what you're in for. Mounds and mounds of delicious... More

Once a year is not enough. My husband and I absolutely love this place. We had the Triple D which is pit beef, corned beef and sausage. It is divine. We also had the fries with cheese. Love the crispy fresh French fries. And the cheese had a nice sharp taste. Carnivores dream of this place. Can't wait to return.... More
