Seafood is done right

Nice neighborhood place to sit and relax. Our waitress is one of the best. The mussels were cooked to perfection. They have an awesome blue fish and salmon entrees. The grilled peaches were also worth it. Some of the other items not so much.

$9.63. Total bill. Delicious carnitas (pork) taco. And one delicious shrimp taco. Soft corn tortilla. PLUS a margarita. $3 each. Can't be beat,. Good food. Good service. Great price. I already love the coffee here, but this menu was news to me...yeah yippee.

Went to Donna's in Charles Village as I had heard wonderful things about it. It definitely didn't disappoint. I took my son who is a student at JHU and he had never heard of Donna's. He loved it. We both had the salmon hash. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the fresh dill was so fragrant and wonderful. Will... More

I am often in need of a coffee stop in the late to mid morning. Charles Village has a ton of spots, my parking spot was closest to Donna's... I grabbed an ice coffee - a medium brew with smooth caramelly body. I like a little cream and sugar, I barely needed any. I was headed to an incredibly long... More

I decided to try this place out for lunch when my sister was visiting. It is in Charles Village and one of the few nice sit-down restaurants there. It is within walking distance from Hopkins (Homewood campus) so that's really appealing. I ordered the Pesto Pizza and it was quite good. It was not greasy and while it was not... More

This is a small but busy place near Hopkins Homewood. We brought our son and his friend for lunch and found an outside of the box menu of apps, soups and sandwiches. We started out with hummus for the table to share, which came with not only pita, but also Greek olives, olive oil, cucumber slices and a crispy lavash.... More

charles village is this little neighborhood next to JHU's homewood campus. being next to one of the top higher educational institutes, one would think he/she will find a decent place to eat. on the same two blocks (St. Paul st.) you have plenty of fast food places from subway to chipotle, from ledo's pizza to Korean take out place. so... The dish to die for here is the corn fritters. Believe me when I say I am not usually a fan of fried stuff. But these fritters are light, fluffy, and especially delicious when dipped in the honied sauce that accompanies it. Oh man! The rest of the food is mediocre and the wines definitely sub-par. But it is a... More

My son said this was the best place around Hopkins. Very disappointing. Would have expected better food for the price. Any ways what counts is that the kids think its good.
