I've been coming to Gil's since I was a little girl and my dad knew the owner and the memories are as awesome as their pizza. Gil's is very unique in the sense that even though it has changed hands, the quality and flavor has stayed the same. My kids are all grown now but they still get excited when... More

Great pizzas! Definitely go for a plain cheese, so good, so simple. Other toppings are good too, but the plain cheese pizza is really incredible. Dough and crust were exceptional. Sauce was not sweet, and very flavorful.

I was raised in Baltimore in the neighborhood where Gil's is located. I had not had a Gil's pizza since moving away from Big B in 1971. For a very long time I have seen my brother and some old friends post glorious and rave reviews of Gil's in these modern times. Well, I was in Alexandria, VA while my... More

I've been eating pizza here since the late 70's. I live an hour away and will happily drive here to get the pizza. One time, I had to eat the pizza in the car because i couldn't wait to get home. I hope they never close.

We've been going to Gil's for three generations. It's the best kept secret for delicious pizza. I'm now in Harford County and wish they would move up here, especially since all of Harford Co., use to live in NE Balto. Come on Gil's owner, move up to Forest Hill you would not be sorry. I think when you do just... More

Great pizza. The cheese is amazing as is the crust. Toppings are under the sauce. We enjoyed the "half-baked" version which is cooked the rest of the way at home- comes out perfect and not just "warmed up.

I grew up on this pizza in the 70's and tried one recently. Unbelievable! I can't wait to go back. Truly there is no pizza around that is this good.

In the old days in North East Baltimore, you had a few good choices for great pizza: LaPores, Ollie Becks, and Gil's. Gil's remains and still has the best pies in the area. It is a shame that the neighborhood has become a jungle and they have thick glass to protect the workers, but this is what the city has... More

I don't know why, but we thought they went out of business. We were sad for years. Then someone corrected us, we started going back. Still the same good solid ingredients, one size, basically one price, still GREAT PIZZA. Note: it has good ingredients and like a real pizza, it's gonna be leaking oil. So when you get it, left...
