Followed past reviews for Greek food and found Samos. Great bread with Tzatziki, grilled octopus and fried calamari. All the other food looked great, lots of smiling faces. Great fast service, nice folks. Easy parking. BYOB, but the liquor store is around the corner and delivers! Easy access from the highway in Greektown from 95 or 895, right off Eastern... More

We went to Samos at 12:15 on a Friday afternoon; there were several empty tables. The waitresses barely greeted us, then became very evasive as if serving us was "our" privilege. A table of four young ladies came in fifteen minutes after our table of two and were served their cooked food before our salads. The salads, shrimp, and spinach... More

Samos is a jewel, thats why people wait in line for a table. No reservations are accepted and there are only 18 tables. Everything is made from scratch. The greek salad is the best we have had anywhere. The augolemono soup is not to be missed. The seafood santorini was delicious. All portions are generous. They don't accept credit cards... More

Samos restaurant is the best spot for Greek food in Baltimore! Really generous portions, fresh and flavourful food, excellent menu. This was my first visit of many (I hope). The moussaka was absolutely beautiful with a fresh Greek salad on the side. Pita is cooked perfectly with really tasty dip choices. Iced tea is fresh brewed and delicious (sweet and... More

We took the "Tour of Samos" and got that sampling of many of their food items. It was delicious. And the service was prompt and courteous and delightful. I highly recommend the "Tour" and this restaurant!

Best to go there on a week night and avoid the crowd as they don't take reservations. Food is good and offers traditional GReek fare. Be sure to save room for dessert or take it home, you'll be glad you did. You'll need to bring your own wine and there is $2 fee per wine glass but much better deal... More

First, 20+ year's diner. Second, lived on the island of Crete (Greece) for five-year's. Third, among other things I know how to correctly pronounce Gyro (yee-roh). Come-on, folk's ...when going MEX do you have a tA-ko?! No! Fourth, the BEST grilled octopus in the City. Make a pita sandwich with it, yummo. Fifth, the best damn staff around. Professional, courteous... More

Samos is and always has been a fun and authentic place to take my family for a trip into Baltimore. Wonderful service with a smile and amazing Greek entrees or gyros and chicken pitas for the kids. Bring a bottle of wine with you and have a blast before you go into Canton. This place is happening, so don't plan... More

Tried this place with family members. They worked with me concerning food allergies, a lot of the menu was unavailable but we pulled together an awesome lamb dish with 2 sides, picture below. Alao got a small Greek salad, could not finish it all. Also tried appetizers of olive paste, hummus, fish roe, all were great. Other family members got... More

rustic but quite good food. We went for the mezze, and the octopus was insanely good, as promised. The sausage, lamb and baklava all deserve mention (though did I mention the octopus?). Pita bread was a bit under par, but you barely have time to notice.
