When you walk in, it looks like a normal restaurant. It's not a fine dining type establishment, but the food is to die for. We had a Pane Rotundo for the table and loved it so much, we had to order a second. Also, we tried the meatballs and antipasto and we weren't disappointed. Recommend you come hungry because the... Service was quick and efficient, the portions were large and well done. I've got a large appetite but I couldn't finish my wonderful gnocchi bolognese. My partners veal parmigiana was tender and delicious with a side of pasta that was a meal unto itself. My suggestion would be to skip ordering anything extra because the main entrees were unusually large.

Amicci's a bit more relaxed/casual than some of the other Little Italy restaurants. We sat in the front room, which was decorated with movie posters. Waitress was great and food selection was good. Our table had chicken marsala, baked gnocchi and a baked tortellini dish, all great!

A very quaint place just off the beaten path. You feel as though you are walking into a house. The staff was great and attentive to the details. You felt at home. I had the Alfredo Broccoli Shrimp Spaghetti. You get massive portions. You will not walk away hungry. This is a place I would recommend if you were in... More

I love everything on the menu of this small and often over looked restaurant. I make the mistake of filing up on the Pane Rotunda, always. Then my other downfall is the house salad. The simple dressing is the most flavor of any fancy dressing I ever had.

We chose this place for it's modest prices and that we could sit outside with our dog. We soon discovered what departing customers were telling us: the food is great. We almost passed on this place as the front desk person was short, bordering on rude. Clearly they didn't need our business. Not only is the food a notch above... More

Coming from RI where Federal Hill reigns supreme as best Italian food in the country, I can honestly say that Amicci's would fit right in with the top notch restaurants in Providence. The atmosphere is warm and homey with intimate dining spaces, decorated with twinkly lights and kitschy wall art. Service was excellent and the entree portions were very generous.... More
