Upscale Italian. Superb menu and specials. Terrific service. Very expensive. Surf and turf was a crab cake and filet. Everyone in our group raved about their choices.

My wife and I went to Aldo's for the first time to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The experience was fantastic from top to bottom. We arrived a little early for our reservation, so we took a seat at the bar. The bartender Margret was great. She made my wife a special cocktail using a ginger liquor that most... More

Outstanding Restaurant. Formal service in a pretty room. Great ambiance. Quiet setting. I had a pasta dish with boar's meat and sauce and my wife had the red snapper special. Super wine list. The waiter was very knowledgeable. Worth the price. A great evening.

What can I say - best Italian meal we've had in a long time. True authentic Italian. Superb service. Margaret the bartender is the best. Friendly, welcoming staff. Elegant dining but not stuffy. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend for any occasion. It is one of THE best restaurants we have been to - ever!

With so many good choices within 1 block of Aldo's it is difficult to justify the expense. The atmosphere is lovely. The black tie wait staff is professional but at times overbearing. The prices are comparable to a fine dining steak house. Also, the food choices are curious. I wanted some procutto and melon as an appetizer. They couldn't provide... More

Normally the food and service are impeccable. Tonight was a miss. I ordered the veal chop medium well. An hour and a half later it appeared raw at my table. They apologised profusely and gave us a free desert. I ordered Osso Buco which is always good. Perhaps it was just an off night. We have come many a time... More

“One of the best Italian restaurants in America” / "The wine list at Aldo's is exemplary, easily one of the best on the east coast” / “This is clearly a labor of familial love, and it shows in every dish" -- John Mariani (of Esquire Magazine), 2012 Aldo’s is Baltimore’s most celebrated Italian restaurant. Aldo's features Chef/Owner Aldo Vitale's delicately balanced southern-influenced regional Italian cuisine, served in sumptuously appointed rooms steeped in classical Italian tradition. The media rave about Aldo's, calling it "An Italian Masterpiece" (NY Times) and have recognized Aldo's for offering Maryland's "Best Private Dining" (The Baltimore Sun) and "Baltimore's Best Private Dining Rooms" (Baltimore Magazine). Private dining rooms include a belowground, climate-controlled Wine Cellar and a Medici-inspired Library.
