The Wife and I dined here and it was a whole other level. It is probably the most expensive spot in town but the food and service are worth every penny. Creative dishes, masterfully prepared in an elegant setting with top notch service. Great spot for those VERY special occasions.

Charleston Restaurant is one of the leading restaurants in Baltimore. It is located in the Inner Harbor area and walking distance from the hotel where I have been (Marriott Baltimore Waterfront) as well as the hotel my friends have been staying at (Four Seasons). We had dinner in Charleston yesterday evening as a party of five and the overall experience... More

The food is FANTASTIC both in presentation and in taste. The place has a great warm ambiance. Although it was fairly full, the noise level was impressively low and I felt that we had enough privacy at our table and not sharing our conversation with those seated at the nearby table. They have an impressive wine menu and service was... More

Last night's visit to Charleston was the 2nd one and we were anxious to find out if the memories of the outstanding experience we had last November will be redefined or collapse. We feel that it is very hard to set a standard of excellence, but it is even harder to maintain it! We are elated to confirm that Charleston,... More

Fantastic and varied menu offering 3 (or more) courses plus a desert from $79. Had a delicious lobster soup with plenty of lobster plus a fine lightly flavoured curry bisque, followed by a superb crab cake and then one of the finest foie gras I have ever tasted. The best of very fine dining.

Charleston is located right at the harbor, so a window seat gives you a lovely view. Service was wonderful; our waiter was helpful and attentive. Cocktails were delicious - inventive and delicious. The menu allows for a selection of prix fixe meals - 3 to 6 course (dessert if always included). We chose 4, but 3 plus dessert would have... More

Eating at The Charleston is an experience. It's a bit pricey, but you won't be disappointed-- particularly if you save it for a special occasion. Four friends and I ate here recently to celebrate a birthday; I summarized our 'experience' below. Drinks: We began the meal with cocktails, which were (surprisingly) reasonably priced. My Old Fashioned was prepared perfectly and... More

There is absolutely nothing on the menu that isn't delicious and paired well with the specified wine, so there is no point in making a recommendation. The service is incredibly attentive and on point, and the plates are perfectly timed. It's expensive to dine here, but that's what you're signing up for by making a reservation, so make sure you... Multiple course offering so that everyone gets the ability to enjoy various options. We loved the Tuna Tartare, Jumbo Cakecake (it is Baltimore), Lamb Tenderloin, and the Beef Tenderloin. The only dish that we weren't wild about was the Swordfish which was "okay". Waiter was very helpful with selection and they let us enjoy the meal at our pace. Great... More
