Best Bartender EVER... you must stop by and see Katelyn! The food is fantastic, the drinks are so perfect, and the atmosphere is incredible. You have to stop by and enjoy the drink specials starting at just $2 for beer. Love it!!

Love Portside, always great for grabbing a bite or a few drinks in Canton. Staff is awesome and love the food.

Portside tavern was a second choice for dinner when we were quoted a large wait for another place. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Although the mussels arrived in a large quantity, they tasted overly fishy and not at all like the marinade they were drenched...in. Drinks were just OK- grapefruit crush was not even close to the best I’ve had while visiting Baltimore. Macaroni & Cheese was one redeeming factor, once you added a lot more old bay seasoning to it. Local sports groups tend to hang out at the bar, which can make it really loud.More

Stopped by on a Tuesday night on a business trip- good selection of beers on tap, including a few local craft selections, half price on mussels because it happened to be Tuesday night - they were delicious, and good, hot crispy french fries with a...garlic ranch dipping sauce that were out of this world. Great, friendly service at the bar. I will definitely be back when I'm in Baltimore again. Tuesday's are trivia night also.More

Although, I ordered it on a pita ... and it was litteraly ON a pita not IN like...I had imagined. Not bad, but not at all what I expectied. Ended up eating it with a fork. I would eat here again with another Sorry Chicky Beer!More

We've frequented this establishment over and over again, including most Sunday nights, thanks to their discounted steak night special. Check in with the tavern to see what specials they offer each night! Great bartenders, good service. The food is excellent - a tuna entree ordered...rare, comes out perfectly rare and is always a good piece of fish. Their steaks are always tender and never seem to be a poor cut. Drinks include orange and grapefruit crushes, a host of local and non local beers on tap, and plenty more to satisfy your thirst. After the dinner hour on the weekends, it turns into a younger crowd and there is a dj, dancing and general merriment both upstairs and down. The owner is great to talk to and is generally there much of the time. He has his finger on the pulse of the Canton area & is a lacrosse enthusiast too. :) This is one of the few bars in the area that has a floor hatch to the basement directly behind the bar.. so it is a little funny to watch the bartender disappear down a flight of stairs you didnt know was there. We'll be back.. often!More

My husband and I stopped in Portside the weekend before St. Pattys for lunch and a few drinks. We were familiarizing ourselves with Canton and spotted this place while walking around. The owner was very friendly and talked to us for a while about the...Baltimore area. Portside has a vacation feel to it, in a nautical sense. The place is clean and fresh, the food was quite good, my husband had the fish tacos and I had a cheesesteak, and there is a good selection of local brews. I had the homemade sangria, with a kick of fireball, it was refreshing! We would certainly recommend this place for lunch and late night drinks.More

We were the oldest people in the bar after dinner but it was still fun. The local beers were plentiful and the bartenders introduced us to an orange drink that was delicious. (Can't remember the name but anyone would know.)
