This was a quick visit but it happened to be happy hour!! The bartender was great and her suggestions where on point. Ahi app was super fresh and the mixed drinks on the bar were really good. I had sangria and I think she called the other pirate punch which has like 7 different liquors in it. Looking forward to... More

This restaurant is in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore. This residential community is a quaint are comprised of neighborhood parks, local restaurants and specialty shops. Our family selected Pug Ugly's after we found that the waiting for another popular seafood restaurant was too long. Although the restaurant had a bar atmosphere, the staff set us up in a semi-private area... More

We were in the area between events and we wanted to have a late lunch/early dinner. After reading some of the TA reviews, this place seemed like it might be a good destination. The place was empty except for one table. The bartender was joking with someone at the bar and didn't seem all that interested in that we came... More

This place was simply delicious all around! Had the grilled oysters with smoked bacon and cheese (huge!), and the crab cake sandwich. Pictures, as usual, don't do it justice. Inside was loud, we sat outside. Only two tables outside though. The Pirate Juice (a drink made with 7 kinds of rum and other magical things) was amazing! It's not as... More

My boyfriend and I visited for our favorite half priced entrée night (Wednesday's) and were pleasantly surprised when we were greeted by the executive chef as our hostess. He not only sat us, talked to us, but also took our orders, served our food, and even checked on us throughout our meals. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and didn't even... More

Went for dinner. Food was really good, but they did try a bit too hard on the flavors on some dishes and made them a bit out of place with some combinations. I would go back again if I was staying in the area. Pug Uglys is on a small, seems to be safe part of town park/square with probably... More

My boyfriend and I were in Baltimore for the day from out of town, and in walking across the city, we stumbled upon Plug Ugly's. The menu seemed good, the atmosphere appeared to be what we were looking for, and we got seated right away. We ordered the bison burger and crab Benedict, before the table next to us. They... More

Stopped through for a friends birthday dinner and had a wonderful time. Stuffed shrimp were amazing and a must try. Rockfish was not my favorite but worth trying. Loved the New York strip. Must try for sure.

We were staying near Canton for the Star Spangled Celebration but hadn't got round to making dinner reservations. We wandered into the Square and had plenty of places to choose from but lots of long lines. A helpful waitress suggested Plug Ugly's and they had space and we had a great night. The table was a bit tucked away but... More
