This place is awesome. Great service including free valete parking. Plenty of help. Timely service. Amazing drinks and I can not say enough about the food. Combinations I would never dream of that water in your mouth. This is worth a drive to go and find. Treat yourself or a team member. And make sure to try the brazed short... More

The Food Market combines gourmet style food with an artsy setting in the heart of Hampden. The pretzel with beer cheese sauce are an awesome app, while the homemade crab cakes are great as well. All the dishes that went by looked great as well. Make sure you make a reservation, have an awesome dinner, and walk down to The... More

So happy to have tried The Food Market. Great ambience and service and delicious food. Have tried the crab cake with lobster mac and cheese (twice!), the shrimp dinner and the fried soft crab. All were wonderful. Looking forward to returning soon.

Yes, the food and service are great! No problem.. but for the life of me, why is the liquor selection poor? One off brand Gin, no Stoli Vodka... The beer selection is not very deep as well.. I would suggest the manager of the bar would say "yes, we can have that (brand liquor) for you next time..It called customer... More

My son is a junior in college and I finally had the opportunity to try this restaurant back in December and again last month. We will be back every time we are in the area. The restaurant has amazing different menu. My kids love the lobster appetizer. My husband who is a mussel expert. Although I don't think they are... More

Was visiting Baltimore for one day and heard about this Hampden area, so decided to take a short uber ride from downtown to visit. The place has a great vibe and service was amazing from start to finish. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5, because some of the dishes could have been better. For appetizers, the buffalo... More

We were celebrating our 40th day before valentine's day, and while we had been to the Food Market for brunch, this was our first dinner there. The drinks were creative, the bartenders provided great service while we waited for our table. and meal never disappointed. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. The menu options made deciding difficult. The food... More

The Food Market has very good food and very good service. It is noisy so be prepared to talk loud at your table. Street parking is very hard, but they do have complimentary parking.

The place is very welcoming and overall there was a positive vibe. The brunch menu is modern and trendy but the items seemed to be matching well. There were not just thrown in for hipster sake.

The Food Market is a cozy comfortable little restaurant with incredibly tasty and fresh food. The place was very crowded for a Monday night, but we were able to find a seat at the bar while we waited for our table. We started with the Amish pretzels and beer cheese fondue per a friends recommendation. You can scroll down to... More
