We came here for the first time since moving to the neighborhood and we were totally blow away. The owner Ivan is so friendly and attentive and recommended some really delicious dishes. The food was amazing, especially the sweet chili sauce wings. It was a...super cozy atmosphere with a great vibe. We will definitely be making this a regular spot out.More

After reading an article that ranked their wings #1 in the city, I wanted to give it a try. I think this restaurant has a lot of potential but they definitely need to address a few things. Pros: 1. Food: The wings were excellent and...I highly recommend them! They had a nice crispy breading and the sweet chili sauce was awesome. The food at the table next to us also looked delicious and the diners kept saying how good it was. 2. Service: The service was solid. The waiter was friendly, attentive, and appreciative of our business. 3. Wine: The wine prices were very reasonable ($7 and up) and it was a good pour. 4. Location: If you’re in town for an Orioles game it’s about two blocks from the stadium so the location is convenient. Cons: 1. It was HOT! I’m not sure if the air conditioner was broken but we were sweating. They also appeared to be out of ice and the soda was served in a can with a straw. Not a big deal but a little unexpected. 2. If you’re not a wine drinker, you’re out of luck because they no longer serve beer. 3. There were no working lights in the bathroom. I found a lamp on the sink to turn on (not sure how safe that is) in lieu of overhead lighting. I think this restaurant has a lot of potential based on the quality of the food. They just need to invest in some of the basics (AC, lighting, etc.) to turn it up a notch! I’m definitely willing to give them another chance so I can try some other things on the menu though!More

We had our son’s rehearsal dinner at the bistro. We cannot say enough on how great the food was, how great the service was and overall experience. It is in a nice neighborhood location. Thanks Ivan and crew.

Dined here for my cousin’s birthday dinner. We had no idea what we were walking into, but we were overwhelmingly surprised! Because it’s so low key you don’t expect much, but what it lacks in “flash” it makes up for in personality and REALLY GREAT...FOOD! Host/waiter was super knowledgeable about food options and wine pairings and resembled service I had only past received in over priced 4/5 star restaurants. Chef was friendly and prepared our food as if we were dining in his own home. I ordered the Sangria and wanted to try other wines, but it was so good that I stuck with it. Shrimp and grits were delicious and filled with huge juicy shrimp. The rest of the table ordered the Chef Special which was salmon and Shrimp in a sweet reduction sauce with roasted potatoes. I sampled theirs and it was soooo delicious! They made our night by giving us free dessert without us even mentioning it was my cousin’s birthday. Once they knew they pulled out candles and made it special! TY CBwinebar for making our night amazing!More

This restaurant is located near my daughters apartment- it was late, we were tired so we went in...and OMG! A low key, comfortable ambiance but the food will knock your socks off! The owner/server is friendly, not hovering. We had questions about some of the...dishes, he showed us pictures on his phone...I had the sweet potato waffle with the fried chicken- so terrific!! We also had shrimp and grits, and a vegetarian options. We will be back!More

I was traveling by myself and based on the reviews decided to give this cute little bistro a try. It was a great place to dine alone. In fact I arrived shortly after the door opened and was the only customer. My server, Ivan, was...friendly and very helpful. The shrimp and grits were delicious, I also had the yummy raspberry tea. I’ll be returning again on my next trip to try one of the other delicious sounding dishes.More

We are so happy we stopped by here last night because we had the BEST meal we've ever had in Baltimore. We had a night off from Orioles baseball and decided to walk over here for a meal. This place is in a quaint neighborhood...of row houses and cobble stones. Inside this Bistro is small, dark and romantic with a handful of tables, maybe ten or twelve at the most. We sat a one of three bar style tables. There was only two other patrons dining when we arrived around 7:00 pm, probably due to the O's game being played. Both patrons appeared to be neighborhood locals. The bar was empty except when customers came by to pick up their orders. Our server was very friendly and prompt, providing impeccable service during our dining experience, as that was what we enjoyed...a dining experience. My wife loves Shrimp and Grits so she ordered the Charleston Shrimp and Grits. I was in a mood for a burger so I ordered the Mac and Cheese Angus Burger with Truffle Fries. Wow was our meal Amazing! We didn't think we were hungry but we cleaned our plates! We were tempted to lick them clean, the meal was so good. The Truffle Fries were drizzled with Truffle oil with parmesan cheese and parsley. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy and delicious while the Angus beef was cooked to perfection. My wife loves Shrimp and Grits and the chef cooked these to her liking. She claims this was the BEST Shrimp and Grits she has ever had and she has sampled many in the past. This place is a hidden gem! Do yourself a favor a try this establishment out before word gets out and you need reservations. We Highly recommend this spot and we will come back again.More

Enjoyed this place a few years ago and then was disappointed to visit one day and found them closed. Has reopened under new management but with the original chef. Truffle Mac and cheese was divine and I enjoyed the ribeye dinner with cheese grits. Chef...tends to slightly over cook the meat so make sure if you want it medium rare you stress a pink center. Regardless my steak and her burger was still tender and tasty. Quiet neighborhood with ample parking on NON GAME nights so check the stadium schedule before trying to park nearby otherwise Uber and don’t let that keep you away.More

They don't have a private space, they are a small intimate restaurant, run and managed by the chef. We had 4 there and loved it. Parking can be a problem...make sure there are no Orioles games when you wish to visit, they... More
