I’d like to like this place, but really, I don’t. It is the restaurant in the Doubletree Inn at the Colonnade, a hotel I recommend otherwise. It isn’t that there is anything downright bad about Alizee American Bistro. The service is generally good. Depending on...your mood and taste, the ambiance is dark and gloomy or subdued and intimate. I suspect, though, that most of the people who come here are not on date night. We come for the food. This is the same heavy, over-seasoned, out-of-the-freezer fare that we can find in a thousand other mid-price hotel restaurants. Cheeseburger anyone?More

Treated like a second class citizen. Attempted to make reservations for a party of 12 the week off RAVENS football game on December 29, 2019 was told it was first come first serve. When arrived the bartender said I needed a reservation and pay a...fee of $1000 to sit in a common area outside of Alizee the Manager Ricardo Espinosa took it upon himself to move my food to a rear table of the restaurant. Steve Nyitrai the property manager is just as worse claiming he has changed the policy after this incident so not giving in I made an reservation for the Superbowl no fee of $1000 was request but the same applies first come first serve. Not the best place if your Africa American. Rules will change to benifit as they see fit.More

This hotel is quite nice to have such a disappointing restaurant. There was one other occupied table, but still it took forever to get our food, the order was wrong, and the food was tasteless. It is a conveniently located hotel when I have family...in town, but we will eat at one of the other local restaurants from now on!More

This restaurant is inside the same building as the hotel and offered us dinner when it was pouring rain and we did not want to go out. The restaurant is nicely decorated and there is a bar out front. The wait staff was very nice...and accommodated our food allergy very well (peanut & tree nuts). The food was good. We enjoyed our time and would eat there again.More

Went here for a quick breakfast. The restaurant was smoky and the server doubled as the hostess. She definitely did not hover ... we had to ask several times for coffee and she Had difficulty recalling to bring butter. Food was...nothing special. There are few...restaurants in this area for breakfast which is why we tried this place. I will do research next time or maybe simply find a protein shake elsewhere. The atmosphere is very hotel like. I imagine having a quick drink here before heading to sleep In the hotel is sufficient. Otherwise it wouldn’t be on my list of places to go.More

Alizee is a wonderful place with awesome food, excellent service, and awesome bar selections! The crab cakes and the crab stuffed cod are fantastic!

Food was pretty tasty - I recommend the crab bisque and salmon - but the restaurant is currently in one of the conference rooms, so the vibe is off. No beer on tap, of course.

This restaurant is within the Inn at the Colonnade, making it convenient for hotel guests and people visiting the Johns Hopkins campus. We just had breakfast there, a standard buffet. The staff was friendly and attentive.

The restaurant removed it's large windows for the alfresco dining on the exceptionally warm February evening. Dinner was very nice and I got to thank the friendly chefs, Eric and Ed, when they came out to say hello. Good service. Good Food.

Never found anything I didn't enjoy. The bar staff is great and really...had a nice selection of beer, wine and cocktails.More
