The Thames Street Oyster House is always busy. Make a reservation in advance. Food is consistently good, fresh, and well prepared. It's worth waiting on an elusive reservation time.

Don't go there for dinner if you want to enjoy conversation. Food's ok. Nothing fabulous or unique. Raw oysters are always good. And beer.

I did not have them, I STRONGLY recommend them. Got squeezed in by the oyster shucker. Not were you would want to sit with a date.
