We had lunch at Kooper's Tavern based on some Trip Advisor reviews. They were right, the burgers were awesome! We were there on a Tuesday and that is their "burger day". So not only did we get a great burger it was lower priced than normal (which still is reasonable). Nice selection of craft beers, and excellent service. It's located... More

Maybe we hit on a bad day? The waiter was a bit "snarky"! No personality at all! Seemed as if we were bothering him. Maybe because we only ordered 2 appetizers? Not sure. Beer ordered was barely cold, but I didn't dare mention it! I've heard good things about the place, so hopefully it was just a bad day for... More

I went with a few others for lunch. The burger was delicious - i got the Elvis got the Blues one. It was perfectly cooked and the roll was nice and soft. It was also a nice size burger. We also got the calamari - nicely done. It was tender, not chewy.

Nice little pub with inside and sidewalk seating in a quaint part of town. Excellent mussels with Old Bay seasoning. Great specials on all Belgian beers on Thursdays.

LOVE this place so much! It all started w/ their food truck that comes to our offices Thursday. After the first burger and fries I knew I had to take my husband to the tavern. The beer sampler was great! The food is classic bar food but upscale in taste. The buns for the burgers are so yummy and everything... More

We were staying at the Admiral Fell for several days and were glad this was our first stop. Our server/bar tender Brad was a great guy who each day made us feel like we had been regulars for a decade. As folks from the Buffalo area this place sure reminded us of our neighborhood tavern.

We stopped in on a whim because this place was close to our hotel. SO glad we did. We ordered the Crab cakes and upgraded to truffle fries ($3) so glad we did! The crab cakes had HUGE pieces of crab and the truffle fries....oh the truffle fries, delish!!!

The Kooper's Chowhound food truck makes the best "build your own" burgers you can imagine, and the price is extremely reasonable. If it comes to your neighborhood, be sure to build a burger and get their sweet potato fries!

There are plenty of places around Baltimore to get a great burger but I always end up returning to Kooper's Tavern. A short Water Taxi ride from Harborplace, Kooper's sits on Thames Street in historic Fells Point. Don't miss Kooper's if you are hungry for an excellent burger!

If you are visiting Baltimore you need to go to Kooper's for a crab cake. We have been going for 23 years. It our go to place for brunch or lunch. We like to sit up stairs in the summer to look out the window and watch the boats. In the winter we like it downstairs. The place is very... More
