Cheapest dish was the $12.00 hamburger. We ate burgers first night and they were really good. They kinda skimped on the fries, but I was full in the end. It's better if you make a reservation. Second night we did and I had the stuffed pork chops and the kids went for another burger. It's a nice place and they... More

Just happened in to this restaurant - sat at the bar to have a drink and ended up eating a full and delicious dinner here! We ordered several tapas, and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Our bartender was so friendly and helpful and the food was quality.

Ate at BMB over the Independence Day holiday with my son. We have eaten there 7-8 times over the last 3-4 years. The food and service has been exceptional and consistent! It may be surprising to some to find such a great place to dine in a town as tiny as Ft. Davis! The locals are certainly lucky to have... More

Happy we got in without reservation and didn't mind the 30 min wait at the bar. Bartender and drinks both very good. Hostess super sweet and hard working. Chose to sit by window which in hindsight not good idea because of flies. Calimari was good. Spouse enjoyed ribeye and my scallop and shrimp fettuccine good though could have used more... More

...and this restaurant epitomizes that. It's expensive and the food is mediocre at best. However, as they are the only bar in town, they don't have a drink menu - you get to find out that double Scotches are TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS EACH when you get the bill. Go to the local liquor store then to one of the BYOB restaurants... More

We are sorry that you were unhappy with our bar. Our well Scotch is $6 per serving. You obviously ordered a premium Scotch and a double measure as well. Our top of the line Scotch is certainly more expensive. We feel that our liquor prices are fair and appropriate. More

A great place to enjoy some of the finer cuisine in life. Make sure to make a reservation as they tend to fill up quick. We ended up having to eat at the bar, which was still good. A great variety of food to choose from but expect to pay for it for sure.

The food was good and the service was excellent. It is quite expensive, obviously geared to impress city dwellers who venture to this isolated part of Texas. It was good but not worth the excessive price. It was about the same price as a high end restaurant in Dallas. The choices for nice places to eat in Fort Davis are... More

We arrived at this restaurant at 5:15 after it opening at 5:00. Were told that you normally need a reservation but they had a table. We ordered gouda cheese fries that had a small handful of fries with a cheese sauce that was gritty and separated. It had store bought bacon bits on it. This plate was $9.00. I ordered... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. I am sorry that you were not pleased with your food. I will be sure speak to our cooks about your complaints. I will add, however, that all of our ingredients are fresh and made in house (nothing "store bought" here!). I hope that you will give us another chance... More

A bit on the expensive side, this is a supper-only restaurant that serves up some excellent cuisine. Full bar, decent wine list.

Absolutely the best food in town. My grandson had the Caesar salad and the soup of the day (was like a beef stew), very good. I had the tapas crab cakes and tomato basil bisque, also very good. They serve warm bread and herbed butter with the meals, so good. Wish we had known how good it was, before our... More
