I came here for lunch based on online reviews. The decor was high-end, and I feared they put all their energy into the ambiance. I was ready to not like the food, but it was very good. The mussel/clam chowder was great and my salmon...More

Came here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend who is local. The Hungarian mushroom soup is as delicious as boasted about! The lunch menu had many selections I would have loved to try - I settled on fish tacos which were delicious. The...More

While the town of Astoria is nothing to write home about one has to appreciate the quaintness of it all and try to appreciate what it does have to offer. The Bridgewater Bistro is in what most likely used to be an old fish processing...More

My first bite of the Dungeness crab cheesecake (an appetizer, not a dessert) may be one of the best culinary moments I have ever experienced. I hope it is on the menu the next time I visit. Impressive wine list, inventive dishes, beautiful view of...More

Every thing we ate at this establishment was delicious, and prices were not at all unreasonable. The cozy fireside seating was especially welcome on the drizzly day after hiking for miles. The view of the river is excellent. Service was impeccable. Would dine there again!

We received a voucher to Bridgewater Bistro with our hotel stay. All I can say is that we were very lucky to receive voucher as we might have missed this place. It is beautiful, classy, and great food. Lots of it.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food given the casual nature of this restaurant. Would recommend. Had halibut with veggies and rice. Server knew just how much to check on us. 👍🏽

Unlike past visits, brunch on Valentine's Day disappointed me. The crab in the skillet egg special was not fresh even though crab is in season and the local catch is robust. This was a departure from past experience and hopefully a one time event. There...More
